7 AWESOME V-TWIN POWER The fuel-injected, 90-degree, 749cc V-Twin engine is well balanced to minimize vibration. Fed by dual 36mm throttle bodies and controlled by a 32-bit CPU which monitors a variety of variables to deliver an optimal fuel mixture the engine packs a major punch with high-compression cylinder heads pumping out strong low-rpm torque. Ergonomically designed switch placement and comfortable handgrips on a wide handlebar keep the rider relaxed while an easily accessible 12V accessory outlet is conveniently available for a GPS unit or other electronic device. 20 2016 KFX 90 / KFX 50 RIGHT OUT OF THE GATE As a parent, you can relax knowing the KFX ATV has a keyed ignition switch that prevents unsupervised starting. A throttle limiting screw enables you to restrict throttle opening so new riders can gain experience at slower speeds. Also, a collar in the Continuously Variable Transmission can easily be removed for increased speed as riders gain experience. POWER FOR POTENTIAL The 89cc, air-cooled, SOHC, four-stroke, singlecylinder engine is reliable and user friendly. An electric push-button start makes starting a breeze, but as back-up, a kick-start is also available.
