2 The AMME range of single phase are capacitor start / run starting from 0.18kw through to 3.7kw in 2, 4 and 6 pole. These motors are high starting torque and the switching is done by a solid state electronic relay instead of a centrifugal switch. The electronic relay senses the voltage drop across the run capacitor as the motor picks up speed and adjusts its switching time automatically depending on the load to switch the start capacitor out of the circuit at the peak of the torque curve. The main feature of this product is that the motor is in the same frame size as the equivalent HP in three phase. Also the motor is the same length as the equivalent three phase motor. The LM range of single phase motors are capacitor run only, starting at 0.09 kw through to 2.2 kw in 2, 4 and 6 pole. These are lower starting torque and suitable for fan, blower, saw, lathe and any job where starting torque isn t required. All motors are light weight alluminium and are multi-mount. The feet can be unbolted from the stator and filled on any of four places around the stator to move the terminal/capacitor box position.
