ETHERNET Powerlink is the new generation of real-time Ethernet solutions providing a simpler interface between motion controllers and drives. Analog and encoder signals are replaced by a Ethernet cable. This results in a cost savings in wiring, reduces setup time and provides for a modular control system. In addition, different machine configurations can be dealt with more easily. Harmonization for ease of use Our H-Series drives are designed for harmonization and ease of use. All our inverter, vector and servo drives use the same simple keypad from 1HP through 1000HP. Our motion control and servo drive product families use the same Windows front end tools for setup and diagnostics. Our servo drives are available with the same Mint programming language as our multi-axis motion controllers. Our new generation H2 adjustable speed drives now integrate the functionality of our Mint Motion controllers. A Mint programmable control card is available as an option. The H2 can also be connected to the same ETHERNET Powerlink network. The integration and harmonization of our technology helps to reduce training costs, support costs and time. Over 200 more axes can be coordinated using the standard CAN in Automation (CiA) DS402 device profile built into the drive.
