3 We develop motors for tomorrow Research and development Whether you are looking for patented engineering solutions of low inertia and high power density asynchronous machines, or a world's first, like our innovative water-cooled motor product line amongst others for the electric mobility branch: One of our most important business objectives is working permanently on the development of electric motors in order to allow us to offer our customers repeated innovative drive solutions of superb quality in the future. With this in mind, our development team collaborates closely with German technical colleges and universities in Kassel, Leipzig, and Dresden. Our extraordinary degree of vertical integration as well as a sophisticated test lab allows us to test new developments in the real world and prepare them for market release. Motor calculation and construction We have engineering design offices in Homberg and Dresden, Germany. Our office in Homberg focuses on the calculation and construction of customer-specific non-standard motors for a variety of industry branches. The Dresden office develops high power density electrical machines that are, among other things, used for test benches in the automotive industry. The calculation software that was developed in-house and is permanently supplied with the results from the test lab, makes it possible to design motors with characteristic lines that match precisely the specifications and demands of our customers.
