4 Product highlights The need of highly precise gearboxes in machinery and plant engineering is steadily increasing. The main requirements are for low backlash and high torques, considering at the same time optimal values in terms of tilting and torsion stiffness in a very compact design. Premium Stephan does not only offer a new standard precision product range, but is also able to make adaptions and special solutions, to meet your request. The impressive knowhow in design and production of the Premium Stephan engineers is based on an experience of more than a quarter-century in the development of special precision gearboxes for individual, customized requirements in the automation industry. The product range can be supplied as sub-assemblies which can be directly mounted into your application. Alternatively we offer enclosed gearbox designs and Geared Motors, which are supplied for use with standard mineral oils. All sizes are available as full shaft versions (execution -V) or hollow shaft version (execution -H), with hollow shafts up to 73 mm diameter, allowing a feed-through of cables.
