2 What began in Bruchsal, Germany, 85 years ago in a small workshop with 16 employees, has become a global, family-run, drive engineering business. Today we have 15 production plants and 79 Drive Technology centres in 48 countries. There with more than 16,000 employees around the world, including 550 in research and development alone. In the fiscal year of 2014/2015 world wide sales were in excess of 2.6 billion euros.
