A number of our operations around Australia are equipped to service the mining industry. Our national headquarters in Melbourne stock components and assemble helical / bevel helical gear units up to 130kNm in output torque. In addition, we stock components and assemble planetary gear units up to 185kNm. We also provide servicing for these same gear units. Our operations in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth are all equipped to assemble gear units on to drive bases and to service gear units. All branches have qualified engineers to assist in all areas of technical support. 8 08 Mining Solutions Standard gear units and gearmotors To solve your drive task, gear units and gearmotors from SEW-EURODRIVE are available in numerous sizes and reduction ratios. They transmit power either in axial, parallel or with right angle power flow direction. Torque and permissible overhung loads are incomparably high in relation to the structural volume of the gear unit. This is made possible by the compact and extremely rigid housing with its low weight and optimum magnetic flux flow. The sealing surfaces are not subject to any load pressure as the force flows through the single piece housing. Your benefit: reliable gearmotor system with a long service life.
