It is called: FIBROTAKT. Its success is: Unique until today. It did not take long for the message to spread about how perfectly the synergy between precision and rigidity had succeeded. FIBROTAKT established itself in the international market with lightning speed. In 1969, only seven years later, FIBRO did it again and launched the FIBROTOR on the market, a highly efficient universal rotary table with cam drive for fast gear changes and optimized motion sequences. By now it was clear that FIBRO was setting new standards for rotary tables. For this reason we will with immediate effect fit all FIBROTOR rotary tables with fixed division, i.e. EM, ER and RT with highly efficient control cams as standard equipment, without additional charge. Compared with the previous drive and with the same inertia force and the same indexing time, the electromechanically driven rotary tables will in future consume around 20% less energy. This is made possible by optimizing the control cam in accordance with the Energy Efficiency-Formula. The effects are considerable: Energy consumption is reduced Alternatively, higher masses can be moved Shorter indexing times can be achieved Smaller rotary tables can be used With the innovation FIBRO consistently pursues the notion of green automation. And also in economic terms, the optimized control cam is of significance. Specifically: The FIBROTOR EM.15 with four divisions and a response time of 1.22 seconds previously had a maximum mass moment of inertia of 76 kgm². NEW: 94 kgm² This means that in future often smaller and thus less expensive sizes will be sufficient. In this example the customer saves a whopping 2,310! The service life of the rotary tables in this case is 20,000 hours MTTF (Mean Time To Failure).

The universal rotary table is extremely robust with hardened sleeve bearing cam rollers for maximum safety and rigidity at collision and emergency stop. It has no elastic drive elements, which tend to wear. For fast delivery and the highest service availability, the ER.17 is now available for a maximum add-on diameter of 2,800 mm.
