Day2 (Oct 21) International Smart Grid Conference Go global beyond domestic expansion of smart grid! Before smart grid expansion, this conference will give an opportunity to review the domestic market as well as global environments such as global policies and market trends, proposing the direction of strategy for Korean companies in advancing into overseas markets. Day 3 (Oct 22) International Microgrid Conference The microgrid market of developing countries is now catching the eyes of energy industry in the world. It launched the Korea Smart Grid Standardization Forum under its umbrella in June 2010 to take the lead at developing smart grid standards. About IEEE IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) is a nonprofit organization with 407,621 experts of electrical and electronic engineering, computer, information and communications technologies from 160 countries. It was accredited by ANSI for developing US national standards and carries forward standardization of related technologies.

11 Why Korea Smart Grid Expo? The Korea Smart Grid Expo 2015 will open to create new market for Korean-style smart grid, a new energy paradigm. The Korea Smart Grid Expo has grown in size every year since its first occasion in 2010 and became the renowned exhibition specializing in the smart grid. In addition, it will be held with other trade shows at the same time, including InterBattery, an exhibition specializing in secondary-cells, and Seoul International Electric Fair which embraces transmission & distribution fields altogether, to provide converged business opportunities. 1. Reputation A representative business fair specializing in the smart grid - The only exhibition in Korea that has grown since its first occasion in 2010 with the development of smart grid industry such as the construction of Jeju Smart Grid Test-bed and expansion business. 2.
