9 Contest Russia`s the Best Commercial Vehicle of the Year Competition Russia`s the Best Commercial Vehicle of the Year is held since Every year, the leading global and domestic manufacturers of trucks, buses and vans that are officially sold and operating on the territory of Russia contest for the right to become its prize-winner. The task of the competition is to provide companies manufacturing motor transport vehicles with new opportunities in the field of their cooperation with businesses and the public in Russia and abroad. 10 Competition nominations The aim of Russia`s the Best Commercial Vehicle of the Year is to identify the best commercial vehicle on the basis of the expert opinion of the jury. There are the following nominations: Official partner of the award ceremony Truck of the year Light-duty van of the year Bus of the year Prospect of the year Special award The main criterion for selection of nominees of the Contest is contribution of their vehicle to increase of transportation efficiency. Such parameters as novelty of technical solutions, operational costs, sales volume, financial terms of purchase, and availability of the service are also taken into account. Held since 2001

11 Members of the jury The competition jury is represented by reputable journalists of specialized Russian periodicals dedicated to motor transport issues. The jury core is comprised of professionals who form the expert council since the first competition.
