4 In keeping with the distinct sense of place for the airport, the connector layers in a zone of landscaping between the mauka makai circulation and the airfield. In addition the master architect has also identified areas along the connector and courtyard where cultural exhibition/art, performances, and VIP information booth would be most widely experienced by all visitors of the Mauka Concourse. The placement of both not only have maximum exposure, but also add visual interest as passengers traversing to their gates.
