3 FACILITIES As an industry leader, we have comprehensive international standard production facilities geared to our quest for qualitative excellence as well as quantitative growth. In our core foundry business, we are equipped to offer a full range of services from product development to moulding, in-house machining, as well as the facilities to provide the most stringent product testing. In-House Designing is integrated with CNC Machines to produce patterns in a short time. Auto CAD, Auto Cast and ProEngineer software are used for designing products as well as optimizing them using a series of simulations. Two 4 axis CNC machines are being used to develop new patterns with greater accuracy and speed. Our company has a melting capacity of 40,000 tons per year of cast iron using 6 cupolas and has 2 induction furnaces with a capacity of 10,000 tons for ductile iron. We produce GG20/25 Grades of Cast and GGG50 Grade of Ductile. We have two Mechanized Sand Plants with separate sand for machine moulding and hand moulding. We have two DISA moulding machines to produce higher quality castings. Other machine shop includes Lathes, Plano Millers, Millers (Heckert Germany), Shapers and Drilling Machines. We use black bitumen, water based paint (which is environment friendly), epoxy as well as primer for painting. We have an in-house Godown which is equipped with Container Loading facilities. Crescent also has a fabrication unit capable of producing customized fabricated products. We use a Spectrometer with a Wet-Lab to test chemical properties. To ensure the physical properties, we have a tensile testing machine, a 150 Ton Load Testing machine, Brinell Hardness Testing among others. We at Crescent Foundry, continue our 30 years journey of growth, taking on new challenges and going beyond these, unswerving from our search for excellence and growth, at home and overseas. WEDGE WIRE Crescent have taken up manufacture of SS 304 wedge wire gratings with attached SS sump.
