The bold calculations represent the consultant emission calculations. The bold red indicates that the consultant emissions are higher than the emissions calculated by the AP42 factors. Bold Green indicates that the consultant emissions are lower than AP42 factors. The maximum predicted NAAQs impacts passed modeling using the 900,000 gallon fuel limit found in permit FP-S-0036 and TP Modeling also showed that the limit of 132 MMcf/yr of Natural Gas could be removed. Therefore, TP-0012 no longer contained a limit for natural gas. The table presents the results from the evaluation made during the last permit cycle and the current permit cycle. An example calculation summary for number of hours is provided below: The 600,000 gallon No. 6 fuel limit is reached based on 196 gallons per hour (operating two boilers) after hours. The boilers may operate the balance of the year using Natural Gas as described in the calculations below: 8760 hrs 2551 hr/yr = 6209 hrs NG allowable hours to burn natural gas The standard cubic feet of natural gas per hour for two boilers = cubic feet natural gas for balance of the year: 6209 hrs * 28,800 scf/hr NG = 164 MMscf NG/yr - Based on Two Boilers operating. Based on discussion with consultant, the natural gas will be limited to 158 MMscf NG/yr. Modeling only allows for the operation of two boilers at one time. Modeling looked at natural gas emission rates for only since the natural gas emissions rates were lower than oil-fired emission rates, except for. Therefore, all calculations are based on two operating at one time. 4 The factor used in the average of AP-42 factor and the CleaverBrooks factor of 1.02 lbs/mmcf (for boilers #4 & #5).
