2 STATE OF RHODE ISLAND PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION DOCKET NO Supplemental Response Of The Pawtucket Water Supply Board To The Division of Public Utilities And Carriers Data Requests Set 1 DIV Response: Prepared by: Supplemental Response: Prepared by: Reference Schedule DGB-3A. Please provide a similar breakdown of consumption by class and meter size by month for FY 2014 and FY 2015 to date. Also include monthly whole consumption for FY 2014 and FY Provide a copy of the Company s response in Excel format. See the attached schedule RB DR# 9 and #10. Monthly schedules are not maintained for the residential and commercial & industrial classifications as our rates are based solely on the size of the meter. The staff labor to prepare these monthly data summaries would be excessive and provides no value since our rate structure does not differentiate between the residential and commercial/industrial classifications. Robert Benson Please see the attached Schedule RB - DR 1-9 and 1-10 Revised for actual consumption numbers through the end of FY Please note that the retail consumption figures previously provided in Schedule RB - DR 1-9 and 1-10 are updated in this schedule. The retail consumption numbers previously provided came from a report in the PWSB s billing software entitled Consumption by Range Report. The retail consumption numbers from this report were not the actual billed consumption, but a 30 day average. Therefore, the Supplemental Schedule contains a line entitled averaging variance to adjust the retail consumption numbers to agree with the actual retail consumption billed. The averaging variance is less than 1% of the actual consumption billed. The wholesale consumption numbers previously provided were not affected and they remain the same in this report, but are also updated through the end of FY Robert Benson

3 STATE OF RHODE ISLAND PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION DOCKET NO Supplemental Response Of The Pawtucket Water Supply Board To The Division of Public Utilities And Carriers Data Requests Set 1 DIV. 1-10: Response: Prepared by: Supplemental Response: Prepared by: Reference Schedule DGB-3A. Please provide a similar breakdown for the number of customers by class for the same fiscal years, and a similar breakdown of the number of customers by month for FY 2014 and FY 2015 to date. Provide a copy of the Company s response in Excel format. See the attached schedule RB DR# 9 and #10. The attached schedule provides the number of meters by size by month. The number of customers by meter size does not have any billable relevance and is not tracked in the detail requested. The total number of all customers issued a bill each month is recorded but does not affect the calculation of the rates. Monthly schedules are not maintained for the residential and commercial & industrial classifications as our rates are based solely on the size of the meter. The staff labor to prepare these monthly data summaries would be excessive and provides no value since our rate structure does not differentiate between the residential and commercial/industrial classifications.
