1 INFORMATION FOR DISTRIBUTORS JUNE 2012 Dear friends, First, thank all of you who sent your condolence to death of our friend and close workmate Frantisek Toman. Frantisek was a brain of our engineering office, and he will be missing there very much, and we have to work very hard to keep our production of the new kits fully operable. It wasn t easy and the first test of our ability to finish new kits will come very soon, immediate in July with Bf 110 E in 1/72nd scale. Another member of Eduard Team, Petr Stepanek, our box art creator, was badly injured during the same accident, and lies in bad condition in hospital. We hope in his recovery and soon comeback. The latest news about his condition are positive, so we can hope! Now, close after Palm Sunday, we are here with the list of Eduard releases prepared for expectably hot June, and checking the list, I believe the sale of Eduard products could be actually very hot right in June! I see a highlight in each of our branches, see Brassin first. There is a never seen collection in this line, with four quarter scale attractive sets, and one new Bigsin in addition. There is great looking P&W R-2800 engine adapted for P-61 of the Great Wall, nice MG 131 machine guns designed generic for Fw 190, and mainly two sets designed for our own Bf 109 E. These two sets are DB 601 engine, and fuselage MG 17 assembly. Note these two sets are released in the month, when we release maybe most important Bf 109 E kit among the others Emil kits, Bf 109 E-4. Yes, the Brassin sets are released in the same month with the kit, this is something that happens for the first time! Also, one of the newly introduced decal sheets is designed for our Emil. So, you can see we lastly follow our idea to concentrate all production of the aftermarket product to the close time around the basic kit release time. A propos, decals. We are back with Eduard decals sheets in June. We introduce two decal sheets in June, both in 1/48th scale, except already mentioned Bf 109E-4 also the Czech stencil data for MiG-21MF. Concerning the photo-etched sets, the June list is one of the better, with two highlights in 1/48th scale the first are two sets for A-6 of Kinetic, which finish the A-6 photo-etch project, and the other one is the collection of the five sets for new PV-1 Ventura of the Revell. At this moment I must confess, that we are really proud the sets for this new kit will be released so soon after Revell s introduction of the basic kit. You can see there are many reasons to be with Eduard in June. We are looking forward to see your answer! 8 The quarter sets are simply the top of our July collection, with five sets for new PV-1 Ventura in the center. Note there are four sets in the standard PE production, and the fifth one is released in ZOOM line. Two sets for A-6 Intruder of the Kinetic complete the A-6 sets released in May. 1/32nd line brings two sets for IL-2m3 and two sets for F-84G. 1/72nd scale is here with two sets for F-14 (HB) and interesting one for EA-18G. Which is absolutely not all. There are two new carrier deck sets, designed for all the model builders who want something nice under their kits. Two 1/72nd scale vegetable sets are very pretty and it is expectable these sets will be as successful as their older brothers in 1/35th scale. And, speaking 1/35th scale, check the four sets for M-1151 EAC too.
