1 EDUARD: NEWS IN DECEMBER 2005 December 5th, 2005 CHRISTMAS SALE This really tops the list for this month. We haven't had a sale in quite some time. If I'm not mistaken, our last such event was some 7 or 8 years ago. We initiated this year s sale in November, with unexpected success. The stock of most discounted items was reduced within a couple of days, some items are gone, and some are in the re-stocking process. In this case, deliveries were shipped slower than we wanted and I must apologize for this, but all deliveries are back on schedule. The sale continues through December, and for exact information about stocks, see the relevant section of the site. As I say, some items are sold out, and stocks are declining on others. So, don t hesitate!. NEW KITS IN DECEMBER Old items are out the door, and new kits are replacing them! The most interesting and most discussed is the 1/35th scale Hetzer. The second boxing is here for December, representing the Late production Hetzer, produced from autumn, 1944,up to the end of the war. This is the most important version among all Hetzer variants, being produced in the largest numbers. The kit is similar to the Early one, released in November, with some necessary differences wheels, gun shield, hatches, drivers periscope...marking options are three, encompassing three different camouflage schemes. The second December kit release is the 1/48th scale Roland C.II Walfish in the Limited Editon line. This Walfish represents the early production aircraft, which was never made by Eduard previously. There are two marking options, one with the famous fish body motive and the second one represents a checker board wing surface. Both are very colorful subjects. A color photoetched set is included, of course, and, as a special bonus, you will find the German WWI Personnel set inide.

And a new personnel set is the third December release new RFC figures in 1/48th scale.

PHOTOETCHED SETS 35 standard sets in various scales and 13 Zooms are released this month.

Among the AFV items, there are four sets for various versions of the Sd.Kfz.251 from Dragon.

Among the AFV items, there are four sets for various versions of the Sd.Kfz.251 from Dragon. In 1/72nd scale, the long-awaited set for Trumpeter's Wyvern is out, and the four sets for the Lancaster are being released sooner than I expected. In 1/48th scale, I would like to turn your attention to two collections of sets, one for the A-26 Invader (Revell/Monogram), and the other consisting of three sets for the F-18E Super Hornet,

released this month. Note the 1/72nd lozenge set.

Finally, please note the two sets for the 1/32nd scale F-4C/D Phantom II (Tamiya) RA-5C Vigilante A-26C Invader interior Wyvern S.4 Six new sets are being released in the BIG Ed line this month, all for aircraft kits. Most of them are in 1/48th scale please check the list bellow. AVIPRINT DECALS Two Aviprint decals sheets are being released this month. Note the 1/72nd lozenge set. This set is based on the newly styled lozenge sheets developed for Eduard s 1/48th scale Fokker D.VII kit, which makes it very interesting. The new Fokker kit follows the first one in all respects, and especially the marking options have been selected to be very colorful and eyecatching.

4 NEW KITS IN JANUARY It is time for the next Fokker D.VII, judging by the fact that we have the last 80 boxings of the Fokker D.VII OAW (item # 8031). We are not planning to restock this item again, and the new kit, the Fokker D.VII (Fok) will replace it in our catalog. The new Fokker kit follows the first one in all respects, and especially the marking options have been selected to be very colorful and eyecatching. Interesting point is, that there are two lozenge type available in this kit: four color as well as five color. The second January release is another Fokker, but not a biplane...a monoplane, the famous E.V, alias D.VIII. Yes, the Flying Razor! This is a newly designed kit, you will find no connection with the old Eduard kit released some 10 years ago. And, as usual, we will bring a surprise with this kit.
