Wall Street bankers showed us how to fall into serious troubles even without Chinese competitors at our heels, which is amazing. With an eye on all this turbulence, we were busily prepared for our E-day meet in Prague, which finally ended up being a very pleasant event. Eight years ago, I was very hesitant with regard to organizing a modelers meet, now I m sure it was a good idea and have zero regrets. E-day is not yet as big an event as the IPMS Nationals, but it holds an important place in Czech and mid-european modeler s schedules and has become bigger and bigger with each passing year. The October releases are available immediately as of October 1st. For the balance of 2008, we will shorten our release schedule and announce monthly news a couple of days before the start of the new month. It means that the November release will be already available in the last week of October. Our final target is to have December releases available on November 18th to clear some room for the Christmas season. Also, we are going to instigate changes to the postage policy on our web store during October to make it more customer friendly. OCTOBER KITS The most exciting October release is, without a doubt, the 1/48th scale HELLCAT 'ROYAL CLASS' edition. This will already be the sixth ROYAL CLASS release, and we trust it will follow its predecessors in bringing excellent value to price ratio, with excellent quality of all components offered within this kit.

3 FUTURE KITS As you already surely know, we are in the process of preparing several very interesting projects for the coming months. There is the Bf 110D in 1/48th scale slated for November, together with the 1/48 th scales Albatros D.III and Lavochkin La-7 in the Weekend edition line. December will see a brand new Fokker E.II/E.III Eindecker, a beautiful kit of this interesting and important airplane. We released an Eindecker initially some 15 years ago and at that time it was an extremely successful kit, which opened a new era for WW I kits. This old kit is now rare, and fetches good money from collectors. The new kit, to be released in December, is a redesign and new tool in the current Eduard style. The Roland C.II will be also re-released in December. Another highly interesting item being readied for December is the Spitfire Mk.Vc in the Limited Edition. The kit is being acquired from MPM, but will be released with a different wing than the original MPM kit and will include special Eduard bonuses.

After the New Year, we will have the Fokker D.

I must draw your attention to the two sets for Hasegawa s 1/32nd scale P-40E, which complement the two September sets developed for the same kit. There are also two sets for the P-47D-25 Thunderbolt (Trumpeter) in 1/32nd scale, and 1/48th scale sees five sets, where the undercarriage set for the F-16C Block 25 (Tamiya) also complements September releases. This month, we continue with momentum in 1/72nd scale activity with four new sets for this scale P-40E Warhawk exterior 1/32 (for Hasegawa kit) LAV C-2 1/35 (for Trumpeter kit)
