Article 33 Duty to Communicate information on substances in Articles 1. Any article supplier of an article containing a substance meeting the criteria in Article 57 and identified in accordance with Article 59(1) in a concentration above 0.10% weight by weight shall provide the recipient of the article with sufficient information, available to the supplier, to allow safe use of the article including, as a minimum, the name of the substance. 2. On request by a consumer, any supplier of an article containing a substance meeting the criteria in Article 57 and identified in accordance with Article 59(1) in a concentration above 0.10% weight by weight shall provide the consumer with sufficient information, available to the supplier, to allow safe use of the article including, as a minimum, the name of the substance. Response: The products listed in the annex contain the following substances listed on the Candidate List of substances of very high concern dated June 27, Substance LEAD CAS # EC # Classification and SVHC Properties Danger! According to the classification provided by companies to ECHA in REACH registrations this substance may damage fertility or the unborn child, causes damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure, is very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects, is very toxic to aquatic life and may cause harm to breast-fed children. At least one company has indicated that the substance classification is affected by impurities or additives. This substance is covered by several Harmonised Classifications and Labelling's (CLH) entries approved by the European Union. Differentiating between the different CLH's entries requires manual Information on safe handling including safe disposal if relevant verification. To know more about the CLH please visit the C&L Inventory. Handling: Wear personal protective equipment. Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing.
