2 REPORT ON PARTICIPATION OF RUBBER BOARD IN BRYTEX INTERNATIONAL 2014, INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION ON RUBBER & TYRE INDUSTRY EVENTCITY, MANCHESTER, U. K OCTOBER 2014 INTRODUCTION The Brytex International 2014, organized by Paul Farrant, an international trade fair for rubber and Tyre industry held at Eventcity, Manchester, U.K from 7 th to 9 th October 2014 is considered as one among the leading trade show for Rubber and Tyrer industry. About the fair The exhibition offers a unique opportunity for traditional rubber and tyre companies and other associated industries to interact with those companies that are adopting the use of advanced materials to improve their systems, processes, production and advance their research capabilities. The fair was organized by Paul Farrant and is UK s specialist exhibition for rubber and rubber products especially tyre sector. The exhibition area was around 15,000 square meters. About 200 exhibitors from all over the world participated in the fair. The visitors included participants from across the globe. The fair also showcased extensive product range including

3 machinery, raw materials, auxiliaries and services for rubber industries. The event had free business matching service and seminars. Rubber Board participation in Brytex International 2014 As per the approval of Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, Government of India, Viju Chacko, Director (Finance) and Dr.Binoi K Kurian, Dy.Director (Marketing), Rubber Board participated in Brytex International The Rubber Board was allotted Stall No. The exhibitors were provided furniture, power connection points, safe cabinets etc at the stall. The stall was equipped with the following. Specimen and Samples of all grades of Ribbed Smoked Sheets i.e. RSS IV, RSS 3, RSS 2, RSS 1 and RSS 1X Specimen and Samples of all grades of Indian Standard Natural Rubber (ISNR) i.e. ISNR 5, ISNR 10, ISNR 20, 5L and 3L Specimen and Samples of Single and Double Centrifuged Latex (CENEX 60%) Directory of Branded Natural Rubber Exporters from India Posters promoting Indian Brand Natural Rubber

4 Posters explaining different forms of Natural Rubber and its Uses. Brochures on Rubber and Rubber Wood. The Board s Stall attracted large number of visitors from across the globe. It was a very good opportunity to showcase India as a rubber exporting country and the quality of Indian Natural Rubber under the Branding Initiative by the Rubber Board. The show played host to an impressive array of tyre manufacturers, wholesalers, brokers and traders from the UK and international markets. Among those exhibiting will be Pirelli, Michelin's Training Centre, Nankang and Nordic Tyres, Infinity from Bond International, exclusive brands from wholesalers Treadsetters and Silverline, and an allnew PCR range from Aeolus, via its UK distributor Kings Road Tyres. Truck, van, bus, coach and OTR products will be prominent with Uniroyal, TORQUE, Matador, Membat, Zeta, Pace, Aeolus, Antyre, Blacklion, Double Coin, Advance, Shandong Wanda Boto, Doublestar, Duratti Tyre Corporation, Qingdao Odyking and Wanli all represented at EventCity. The participating officers interacted with the visitors and had discussions. The queries were answered in most cases. Where ever further expert opinion was required necessary contacts and references were given. For those
