With 100 coil resistance it is adapted to the recommended electric power supplies. On request, it is possible to provide other values within the range of Three diodes connected in parallel with the winding serve to render the inductivity ineffective, and a diode connected in series serves as a protection against reverse polarity. The electrical minimum values for a secure operation can be taken from the corresponding data sheet of the valve. APPLICATION With the EC-type test certification, the solenoid coil is certifi ed as a device of the category 1 and of the device group II. TYPE CODE APPLICATION Solenoid operated spool valves are mainly used to control the direction of movement and retain hydraulic cylinders and motors. The direction of flow through the valve is determined by the spool symbol. Switching performance and possible leakage must be taken into considaration when designing a system. These valves are suitable for hazardeous areas in off-shore and shipbuilding applications as well as in chemical, oil and gas industry.
