5 Project Execution Project handling A project plan, time schedule and test protocols, as required, will be agreed with the customer after order placement. Project progress reports will be produced on a regular basis throughout the project. Progress and payment issues Changes to the project scope after the final design review will be handled using engineering change notices (ECN). Such changes will be quoted separately and only after customer written approval will Advance Engineering proceed with design and implementation. They will not affect the agreed payment schedule and will be invoiced separately. Advance Engineering will start project execution after receipt of the first payment. In the event of failure to keep to the agreed payment schedule, Advance Engineering reserves the right to withhold performance and to charge for all the costs incurred. Should the installation, testing and/or commissioning be delayed considerably by factors outside of Advance Engineering s control, necessitating additional visits and/or more time, then Advance Engineering reserves the right to charge the customer for any such additional costs incurred. Delays in acceptance and/or delivery for reasons outside Advance Engineering s control will not affect the agreed payment schedule. Responsibilities Additional customer responsibilities Include, but may not be limited to: Provision of a clear and electrically safe site, with unimpeded access during the installation Supply all of ladders, personnel and system lifts, scaffolding etc., required for the installation, if not differently agreed All system controls, including motor control, emergency stops, safety switches and functional responsibility for equipment supplied by others All civil works required to accommodate the system, including provision of a suitable floor and any sealing/finishing of the surface after the system is installed Provision of safe and secure material storage area To ensure personnel acquire proper training to safely operate and maintain the system

6 Time Plan Time plan is based on the information currently available and is provisional. A binding time plan will be provide with the project plan after order placement and design approval. Safety Safety standards All equipment scheduled as part of the supply from Advance Engineering complies with basic safety and health requirements. Guarding When required by the risk analysis, the system is completed with guarding solutions. Any sign required in accordance with regulatory requirements will be provided and securely fixed. The drive units will be fitted with slack protection plates. The system may not be operated unless all the guarding provided is attached firmly in position. Based on our previous experience and our knowledge of this application, Company considers this the extent of the guarding required for the system. This view is also reflected in many independent occupational OH&S inspections carried out by customers before similar equipment has been placed in their facilities.
