2 Ultra Saddles & Tees Overview For a Permanent and Simple Tap In Solution for almost all Pipe Materials Easy to Install Rapid installation in poor site conditions is made easy with a simple flip-over action and self retained bolts. A full circle waffle gasket offers a guaranteed reliable seal even on badly corroded pipes. Pipe Sizes and Outlet Sizes A comprehensive range is available for pipes from DN40mm to DN600mm with branch outlet sizes from DN15mm to DN100mm. Although this product is capable of containing leaks from small holes and longitudinal cracks, it must not be used for joining pipes. 5 Ultra Clamp Saddles & Tees Specifications Choosing the Correct Tap-In Product It is important to choose the correct tap-in product when planning a connection. Different tap in saddles and tees offer varied advantages and performance characteristics. Possibility of Pipe Cracking When tapping into old and damaged pipes there always exists the possibility of the pipe wall cracking. Particularly with Asbestos & Fibre Cement pipe, where, a full circle rubber mat seal is essential. Therefore the installer should select an Easi Tee or Ultra Saddle / Tee. Pressure Performance Buffalo Saddles, Service Saddles, DI Saddles for PVC pipe and Easi Tee products offer a far higher pressure performance than Ultra Saddles & Tees. Corrosion Resistance Stainless Steel and Ductile Iron products will offer a superior corrosion resistance. At least better than mild steel products such as the Easi Tee.
