TERMS AND CONDITIONS :- The Vehicles/General Cargo will be sold lias IS WHERE IS BASIS" in accordance with the provision of appointment of Auctioneers and Auction Procedure rule SRO-450(1)/ The weight or quantity and length as announced at the time of auction are approximate and Custom is not bound to deliver the same. The bidders may verify them before bidding. The announced quantity or weight or length if found in excess, the successful bidder shall have no claim. Over it and shall pay the extra amount due. 2. The bidder will have to pay 25% of the amount of the highest bid as earnest money immediately after fall of hammer, failing which the bid will be cancelled and the goods will be sold to the second highest bidder or the highest bidder after re-auction as deemed appropriate. And a copy Of CNIC/NTN will have to be provided by the successful bidders. 3. The successful bidder will have to deposit 25% of the final bid immediately on the fall of hammer, which will be return forthwith in case of rejection of the bid/sealed offer. 4. The balance 75% Plus 10% Income tax of the approved lot will be deposited by the successful bidders within 7 working days of the approval of the bid, otherwise 25% of the earnest money will be forfeited as per auction rules. 5. The bidders can also offer the bid through sealed Tender along with the Pay Order of 25% bid amount in favor of Collector of Customs Perventive, before one day from the date of auction. 6. The condition laid down for auction can be changed by the competent authority before the commencement of auction of a particular lot to facilitate the auction goods. Collector of Customs reserve the right of rejections/sealed offer without assigning any reason. 7. The bidder should also submit and obtain NOC from various departments in respect of following items i.e. Calcium carbide sulpher etc. Drum explosives department, wireless apparatus from the DG Telegraphs, agriculture goods from the plant protection department, Livestock/Dairy Product from DG Health, Boiler from chief Inspector of Boiler, Chemicals known on determination of its composition.
