4 Global Opportunities for SMEs in Electro-Mobility Welcome to our second newsletter In this newsletter we provide you with the up-to-date information on the project progress and the ongoing dissemination activities. Since the publication of the first newsletter, the project focused on analysis of global e-mobility chains in Japan, USA, South Korea, China and Brasil. The main objective of this task is to provide insight into the status of the global market and define directions where European SMEs can find the entry points and be active in the international environment. Moreover, the first project period is based on identifying the capabilities and expertise of the European stakeholder clusters in the field of e-mobility. You can find more information on the project progress in our newsletter and on the website Electro-Mobility Custers in Europe First entries into database on regional European clusters on electric mobility available on GO4SEM website. The GO4SEM project started a database on regional European clusters on electric mobility that have a strong presence of SMEs. Thus, the project aims to identify the capabilities of European SMEs in order to match these to the requirements and entry points of global supply chains. This work forms the second focus of the project complementing the exploration of global markets regarding trends, supply chains and possible entry points for European small/medium companies. India on the move towards advanced electric mobility technologies. Everything standardized in China? The GO4SEM project analyzed the most dynamic global electric mobility markets as well as the most important emerging markets. Comprehensive reports have been compiled that provide insight into the current status of EV deployment, infrastructure development and supporting national policies in selected countries such as Japan, South Korea, China, India, and the United States of America. News Spanish Green Cars Day On 14th November the H2020-Spanish Green Cars Day 2014: "Intelligent Transport Strategy for the Future" is taking place in Vigo (Galicia). This event is jointly organized by CDTI, Xunta de Galicia, GAIN - Galega Axencia Innovation SERNAUTO, M2F, ANFAC, IBERDROLA, CTAG, PSA and Tecnalia. As in the previous event in Barcelona (FP7-Green Cars / Vehicles Horizon Green 2013: New opportunities for clean vehicles sector), short oral presentations of products or services developed through the recent R&D projects will be held. In the new book that will be published with the proceeding of this event will also include an update on: Directory of national, regional, European projects with relevant Spanish participation, related to eco and electro-mobility. Directory of national technology offer eco and electro-mobility (vehicles, components, demonstrators, charging infrastructure, software, etc. as well as innovations in products, processes and business models).

6 3rd European Electric Vehicle Congress From the 2nd until the 5th of December 2014, Electri-city.mobi organizes the third European Electric Vehicle Congress, in Brussels. The main topic covers battery, hybrid and fuel cell vehicles. SmartCity Expo & World Congress is a meeting point for companies, administration, entrepeneur and researching centers working for the development of future cities. Trendmonitor Trendmonitor- Electric Mobility in Japan New electric mobility blog reports on the latest innovations and important R & D & I projects in Japan. The purpose of the German blog is to provide up-to-date information on the latest developments in the area of electric mobility in Japan. The blog reports on the latest innovations and products from Japanese companies in the field of electric mobility as well as important technological developments of academic and applied science. Upcoming Events E-mobil BW conference 2014 Future Mobility Solutions, 6 8th October, 2014, Messe Stuttgart, ICS, Germany. EXPOeléctric Formula-e, 16-19th October, Barcelona. EXPOeléctric Formula-eis the the most important event of electric vehicles and efficient technologies in southern Europe. It is a pioneering initiative that aims to bring zero emission vehicles to public through educational and recreational activities. Eco-Mobility 2014 conference with focus on Fuel Cells and Hydrogen (1 st day) and all other Eco-Mobility Technology Options (2 nd day) / 20 _ 21st October, 2014, Vienna, Austria. Internationalisation Global Connect 2014, 4-5th November Provides companies with answers to all questions relating to international trade. The
