Its prosperity is built on hard-working, creative, and educated people, on cooperation and an open participatory process with citizens and partners. 6 TRANSPORT MASTERPLAN STRATEGY OF SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT DEVELOPMENT IN THE CITY OF PREŠOV (SURDMP), incl. Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) A strategic document that: Will update the real trends of transport characteristics of the city of Prešov, Will provide a basis for further urban territorial development in terms of transport, Will propose an effective and sustainable transport system, in terms of both technical and financial aspects. PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION: 05/ /2018 PROJECT BUDGET: OP II / Grant EUR (95 %), Co-funding by the city of Prešov EUR (5 %)

7 SMART CITY OF PREŠOV TRANSPORT PROJECTS DPMP, MODERNIZATION OF TROLLEYBUS FLEET IN PREŠOV PROJECT ACTIVITIES: Purchase of trolleybuses (15 vehicles / 5 vehicles of two-axel and 10 vehicles of three-axel trolleybus /) IMPLEMENTATION: 10/ /2017, PROJECT BUDGET: OP II / Grant 7,514, EUR (95 %), Co-funding by DPMP 395, EUR (5 %) DPMP, DEPOT MODERNIZATION PROJECT ACTIVITIES: Comprehensive modernization of the depot for trolleybuses, incl. modernization of the technologic operation sets, building new garages, and a drying room for trolleybuses. FUNDING REQUIREMENTS expectation mil. EUR, expected IMPLEMENTATION 09/ /2020 MODERNIZATION OF EXISTING TROLLEYBUS ROUTES IN PREŠOV PROJECT ACTIVITIES: Comprehensive modernization of existing sections of trolleybus routes and turning places. 1. Construction of 4 new trolleybus routes 2. Modernization of the existing and construction of new power supply substations FUNDING REQUIREMENTS 9.1 mil. EUR in total, expected IMPLEMENTATION 01/ /2022 BOOSTING COMFORT AND SAFETY LEVELS OF THE TRANSPORT SYSTEM IN PREŠOV PROJECT OBJECTIVE & ACTIVITIES: Modernization of the system of ticketing terminals, installation of a camera system in critical points in the transport system, and raising awareness among passengers by installing modern electronic information boards at selected PT bus stops with connections to the control centre and DPMP s GPS system FUNDING REQUIREMENTS 1.5 mil. EUR in total, expected IMPLEMENTATION - 03/ /2020

By modern lighting and efficient lighting control achieve a satisfactory level of illumination while reducing the energy intensity of the public lighting system. 2. Enhance safety and reduce unwanted disturbing lighting effects for residents in connection with the changing of lamps Outputs: - Exchanged lamps in the number of pcs, - Exchanged 4 RVO for remote control - Adjusted software settings in 19 RVO - Energy savings at GJ / year - about 67% Awards 1. GPP Award Slovakia (green public procurement - 1. place) 2. European GPP Award 2016 (4. place)
