6 Desin Details Coolin System The ventilation system desin of the line provides lower noise levels and a better distribution of the air flow over the motor, reducin the hot spots on the surface, and thus increasin the motor reliability and life. The new position of the terminal box and eyebolts contribute to reducin the air flow dispersion. Lower operatin temperature on the bearins, resultin in loner lubrication intervals. Low noise levels. Terminal Box The increase in the internal space of the terminal box simplifies the access to the terminals, ensurin easy and safe electrical connections durin the installation and maintenance of the motor. Versatile mountin The terminal box connection system for frames 225S/M to 355A/B allows easy chane of the motor mountin, without requirin the motor disassembly, reducin the time necessary for the modification and the quantity of motors in stock. Frame The frame desin reduces the air flow dispersion and contributes to increasin the heat exchane between the motor and the environment, reducin hot spots on the frame surface and extendin the bearin lubrication intervals. Eyebolts: simple handlin and increased safety durin installation. Specific locations to install vibration sensors from frame 132 up, simplifyin the vibration measurement process, even in the non-drive end side of the motor. One-piece, solid feet simplify the alinment and installation and increase the capacity to absorb impacts. Exclusive sealin system - W3 Seal It extends the motor life in harsh environments and simplifies chanin the stock motor deree of protection at branches and dealers, reducin inventory items (spare parts). The sealin system of the motor directly contributes to increasin the motor life in harsh environments. The W3 Seal is composed of taconite seal, V-rin and O-rin. In other words, it is a hih-performance seal that prevents the inress of contaminants throuh the bearins. 6
