The drive rotor is a flangeless type, which enables the use of a driven rotor with a small diameter, thus reducing friction. An internal oil relief system is used to circulate the relief oil through the suction passage in the oil pump. This suppresses the oil level fluc-

3 EG 111 tuations in the oil pan, reduces friction, and reduces the rate of mixing air bubbles in the oil. The element uses high-performance filter paper that ensures ample filtering performance, and is made completely burnable. The cap is made of an aluminum alloy for a long life. A drain construction is provided to suppress the splashing of the oil during the replacement of the oil filter element. On the 2WD model, oil can be drained by matching the thread cutout on the cap against the thread cutout on the case. On the 4WD model, in which the oil filter cap faces downward, oil can be drained by removing the drain bolt from the cap and inserting a drain pipe.

Match the cutout on the cap against the cutout on the case by using the rib as a reference. To match the cutout on the cap against the cutout on the case, use the rib as a reference. To replace the oil filter on the 4WD model, first remove the drain bolt. Then, insert a drain pipe to drain the engine oil in the oil filter.for details,refer to GS430/300 Repair Manual(Pub. These jets spray oil into the cylinders to reduce friction and suppress the increase in temperature. As a result, they improve the durability of the pistons and prevent them from knocking. A P

5 EG 113 Oil Level Sensor The oil level sensor consists of a reed switch, which turns ON and OFF with the vertical movement of the float. When the engine oil level decreases, the system informs the driver of it in the following manner. On the multi-information display in the combination meter, a warning appears on the multi-information display.in addition, the system is provided with a 40-second delay circuit to prevent the display from indicating improperly as a result of biased behavior of the oil while the vehicle is in motion. A warning appears when the float descends as a result of a reduction in the engine oil level (when the reed switch is OFF).
