1 Product family strip-fuseways strip-fuseways in accordance with DIN are mainly used for power distribution in cable distribution cabinets and low voltage power supply distribution systems. They are available in sizes 00/160A to 3/630A. All live parts are completely covered. 3 Current distribution components strip-fuseways Bottom connection Sizes 00-3 / 160A-630A Product definition Strip-fuseways are 3-pole strip-type fuse-bases for mounting on busbars. They combine three lengthwise-arranged 1-pole fuse-bases in one unit. One contact of each phase (incoming contact) is connected to one phase of a 3-pole busbar system. The other contacts (outgoing contacts) are equipped with conductor terminals. Applications strip-fuseways are mainly used in cable distribution cabinets and low voltage power supply distribution systems. Operational principle The strip-fuseways are used for accomodating fuse-links and thus for off-load breaking of circuits. It must be possible to insert and pull out fuse-links in fuseways by means of a plug-in handle. Product construction The one-piece strip body, which accomodates current-carrying parts, consists of high-strength glass-fibre-reinforced polyamid as well as polyester. The silver-plated contact system for accomodating the LV HRC fuse-links equipped with tin-plated discharge rails ensures low power loss, optimum thermal characteristics and high switching capacity. The downward connecting bars are designed for flat termination as standard, but it is also possible to fit direct-connection terminals. All live parts such as contacts, supply brackets, discharge rails and terminal compartment are covered for protection against accidental contact in accordance with BGV A2. The special shape of the contact cover in the contact blade area enables safe insertion of the fuse-links. 6-2

5 Current distribution components strip-fuseways Busbar disconnection Size 3 / 630A-1000A Product definition Strip-fuseways are 3-pole strip-type fuse-bases for mounting on busbars. They combine three lengthwise-arranged 1-pole fuse-bases in one unit. One contact of each phase (incoming contact) is connected to one phase of a 3-pole busbar system. The lateral outgoing connections allow coupling of a second distribution system. Applications fuse-disconnector blocks are mainly used in cable distribution cabinets and low voltage power supply distribution systems. Operational principle The fuse-disconnector blocks are used for accomodating fuse-links and thus for de-energized disconnecting of busbar systems. It must be possible to insert and pull out fuse-links in fuseways by means of a plug-in handle. Product construction The one-piece strip body, which accomodates current-carrying parts, consists of high-strength glass-fibre-reinforced polyester. The silver-plated contact system for accomodating the fuse-links equipped with tin-plated output brackets ensures low power loss, optimum thermal characteristics and high switching capacity. The lateral (right or left) outgoing connections allow coupling of a second busbar system. All live parts such as contacts, supply brackets, discharge rails and terminal compartment are covered for protection against accidental contact in accordance with BGV A2. The special shape of the contact cover in the contact blade area enables safe insertion of the fuse-links. The strips of the size 3/1000A are equipped with isolating blades with metal gripping tabs arranged in an insulated manner. 6-4

7 Current distribution components strip-fuseways Accessories Accessories Product definition CLAMP-TYPE TERMINAL The S00-Z terminals are suitable for fitting to size 00 strips for the connection of circular Cu conductors and Cu ribbon conductors. V-TERMINAL CLAMPS The P0070-Z V-terminal clamps are suitable for fitting to size 00 strips for the connection of circular and sector-shaped Al and Cu conductors. KIT FOR 2 CABLE LUGS The FK-2x240 kit is used for the connection of 2 cable lugs of max. 2 x 300mm² perphasetosize2to3 strips with screw terminal. It is suitable for cable lugs up to a width of 43mm. KIT FOR 2 CABLES, TERMI- NAL RETROFITTING KIT The terminal retrofitting kits are used to expand the terminal space for direct connection of two cable per phase. BOX TERMINALS The K2G/A box terminals can be retrofitted to size 1 to 3 strips with screw or stud terminal M12 x 35 and are suitable for the connection of circular and sector-shaped Al and Cu conductors. BUSBAR TERMINALS FOR SIZE 00 Busbar terminals are used for drill-free direct contacting of size 00 strips on the busbars. They are available for bar thicknesses of 5mm to 10mm and 10mm to 15mm. BUSBAR TERMINALS FOR SIZE 1-3 With the aid of the busbar clamps, strips of the sizes 1 to 3 can be mounted directly on busbars without drilling holes. The SK clamps are available for busbars with thicknesses of 5mm to 10mm. ADAPTER CLIP Adapter clips allow a size 00 strip to be placed on a mm busbar system in combination with size 1 to 3 strips. BUSBAR ADAPTER Busbar adapters allow 2 size 00 strips to be placed on a mm busbar system in combination with size 1 to 3 strips. HANDLE-GUARD FOR SIZE 00/100 The gripping tab cover is snapped into the covers of the strips L00/100 and covers the front side of the installed fuse links. TERMINAL COMPARTMENT / TERMINAL COVER The terminal compartment cover provides frontal and lateral protective covering of the terminal compartment. The terminal cover for plugging on the box terminals provides frontal and lateral covering of the terminals. STRIP COVERS Strip covers for hanging at the phase separation segments are used for frontal protective covering. ASSEMBLY COVERS Assembly covers for hanging at the phase separation segments are used for frontal and lateral protective covering. BUSBAR COVERS Reserve section or panel covers can be screwed or latched on the busbars for covering exposed strip locations. CURRENT TRANSFORMER MOUNTING KIT Terminal lugs for retrofitting of 1 or 3 in the connection area. ASSEMBLY AID The assembly aid allows size 1 to 3 circuit strips to be hanged at the busbars while the system is energized. PIGGYBACK FUSE The piggyback fuse enables fuse-protected temporary connections (worksite electrical supply) to size 1 to 3 strip-fuseways. BUSBAR SUPPORT The 3-pole busbar support is used for the fixing of flat bars at 100mm and mm distances. FUSE HANDLES The fuse handles are used for the insertion and removal of fuse-links in accordance with DIN 43620, disconnecting blades and blanking inserts. 6-6

17 Fuses fuse-links meter fuse-links Measuring devices and current Product definition The measuring devices are equipped with a bimetallic measurement mechanism (overload capacity up to 20%) with slave pointer. Dial marking: 0-100% (120%), dual-range dial. Setting time: 8min. (standard) or 15min. (accuracy class 3). The current are dual-range measurements. Due to their low overcurrent factor, they can be operated with open secondary sockets. Accuracy class 3.../5A.
