3 Fuses Product Definition in accordance with VDE 0670, EN 60644, IEC , IEC and IEC Rated voltage: AC 3.6/7.2kV-12kV-24kV-36kV, depending on the type. The fuse-links are recycable. Applications Type IKUS HV HRC fuse-links are used for indoor and outdoor systems in the Rated voltage range kV. They provide short-circuit protection of transformers and high voltage motors. For transformer protection, we recommend selective coordination of transformer protection fuse-links of the utilization category gtr in accordance with VDE 0670 Table 2. For high voltage motor protection, the starting current, starting time and starting frequency must be taken into account.
