1 Product descripption SureFire Electrical Pump DESCRIPTION The SureFire centralised lubrication system is robust and durable, capable of handling oil and fluid greases. Available in four reservoir capacities to fit your space requirements and lubrication demands. The SureFire lubricator is a self-contained electric, motor-driven gear pump that can adapt to a broad range of production machinery. It can handle single injectors or injector groups serving up to 100 lubrication points. Its versatility also allows it to perform with other lubrication systems and applications. Volumetric version schematic OPERATION As the motorized gear pump pulls lubricant in from the reservoir and delivers lubricant to the distribution system, the PDIs in the system discharge a fixed amount of lubricant to the lubrication points. After the injectors are fired, the pressure in the system continues to rise until the pressure switch setting is reached. Once the limit is reached, the pressure switch signals the motor to stop. When the momentary pressure in the distribution system becomes greater than the gear pump pressure, the pressure differential actuates a quick release valve which relieves the distribution line pressure back into the reservoir. 7 ELECTRIC OUTLET CONNECTION The user connects the pump via 2 connectors M12 to IEC standard. The C1 connector has 5 pins. The C2 connector has 8 pins and is the signal connector. The main connector is usualy created for applications in CA, it has a pin on earth and a cabling of 0.75mm², estimated for 4A to 250 Vac. The connector signal has an inner wiring 0,25 mm², each cable being suitable for 2A to 30 Vdc. To connect the cables : All cables must follow the norms IEC or IEC Mains cables must be minimum 0,75mm2 CSA Signal cable must be minimum 0,25mm2 CSA Connectors must follow the norms IEC or IEC Section 11.2 includes a detailed list of cabling accessories available. These cables can be directly supplied by Bijur Delimon. If purchased elsewhere please ensure recommended norms are respected. In case of any doubt, please contact your local Bijur technician..
