2 Tools needed Screwdriver - PH2 Length of steel wire Drift 3mm Hexagon screw driver 5mm 1 Slacken the brake cable adjustement screw. 2 Remove the screw that holds the brake cable in the lower position, located behind the front wheel. 3 Remove the brake wire from the slot in the frame. 3 5 Remove the brake lever locking pin from the handle 6 Pull out and rotate the brake lever downward, exposing the cable end. Remove the cable end from the brake lever. 7 If needed use a steel wire to get the cable out of the handle and in position for installation of the ne brake lever Active Brake lever replacement 3

4 8 Put the cable end into the slot in the new lever and insert the lever into the handle. 9 Reposition the brake lever locking pin. 10 Pull the cable out of the frame using the steel wire. Active Brake lever replacement 4

5 11 Fasten the cable in the frame slot. Ensure that the cable head is positioned as show on the picture. 12 Fasten the the brake cable adjustment screw. 13 Before use check the braking function. Active Brake lever replacement 5

6 Adjusting the brakes on the Active Rollator r slakke kan de The brakes on the Active Rollator can easily be adjusted if they are a bit tight or develop slack. In the basket under the seat there is an allen key (hex key) attached with a little piece of elastic. Remove the key from the elastic and place the rollator sideways on the floor or another flat surface. Image 1: Underneath both backwheels you will see a screw that fits the allen key. This is where you make the adjustment by inserting the allen key and turning it left or right. Image 2: The silver piece of metal at the top of each wheel will move closer to or further away from the wheel depending on which direction you turn the allen key.
