12 Page 11 3BE390845NM 01/12 2 CHANGING COMPONENTS 2.1 ADVANCIA BRATT PANS ACCESS TO COMPONENTS LOCATED BEHIND THE UPPER PANELLING Open the lid and tilt the well completely forward. - Undo the nuts on both sides inside the facia panel. - Undo the two M5 x 16 panhead screws under the facia panel - Tilt the facia: Pull in gently down 1 the pull towards you ACCESS TO COMPONENTS BEHIND THE LOWER PANELLING Undo the two M5 x 16 panhead screws under the lower panel - Remove the panel: Pull in gently down 1 the pull towards you 2.

13 2.2 ADVANCIA PLUS BRATT PANS Page 12 3BE390845NM 01/ CONTROL FACIA (RIGHT ARM) - Undo the screw under the front facia of the right arm. - Lift the panel upwards and pull towards you. - The panel can be hooked onto the unit in the open position LOWER FACIA (RIGHT ARM) - Undo the screw under the lower panel. - Gently pull down then towards you.

15 3.2 CHANGING FROM ONE GAS TO ANOTHER Page 14 3BE390845NM 01/12 Depending on the country of installation and the category of the appliance (indicated on the data plate), the change from one gas to another may require 2 operations: Change jets (See paragraph 3.4) CI (main burner, pilot) RA Adjustment of primary air (See paragraph 3.4) PROCEDURE: On the data plate, check: - The category(ies) of the equipment - The gas and pressure for which it is adjusted. In the following table, select: - the country in question - the gas and the category of the equipment (see above) - the gas and pressure for which the equipment is going to be set - Follow and carry out the necessary operations - Replace the gas data plate and fill in the box with the new gas used.

21 4.1 ADJUSTING THE SPRINGS Page 20 3BE390845NM 01/12 4 ADJUSTING THE LID This adjustment can increase or decrease the effort required to open or close the lid. - Remove the flue vent cover - At the rear of the unit slacken the domed nut to reduce spring tension or tighten it to increase tension. Having the lid open reduces the effort required. Domed nut - Repeat with the second spring on the other side. 4.2 ADJUSTING THE LIDS OPENING This allows the angle to which the lid opens to be adjusted. - Remove the flue vent cover - Slacken the lock nut on the movement limiter. Screw the adjuster in or out to change the degree of opening, retighten the lock nut. The factory setting gives maximum opening. Adjuster screw Lock nut - Repeat on the other side.
