2 FOREWORD Sadly, after living and farming all his life in Bierton, Mr B M ( Mike ) Griffin died from a degenerating illness during July His farming properties are in the process of being either surrendered or sold, and the Executor now needs to dispose of all of farming equipment owned by the family farming partnership trading as B M & C Griffin. The joint auctioneers WJA Rural and Thame Farmers Auction Mart. Ltd are therefore pleased to accept instructions to conduct this dispersal, and will sell all of the 9(no) Tractors together with the complete range of mainly pasture farm equipment off this 207 acres grassland holding. The sale will extend to other included lots off local farms. DIRECTIONS Grove Farm is situated at the northern end of the village of Bierton, some 2 1 /2 miles to the north-east of Aylesbury. Rowsham Road lies to the west off the A.418 Leighton Buzzard road at the top end of the village, and the entrance to the sale Car Park will be found on your righthand side after ¼ of a mile. To the Sale signs will be erected on the day of sale. SALE ORDER The order of sale will be announced immediately prior to the start of the auction at am on Saturday, 25 th July The right is reserved to sell lots in any order and not necessarily in number sequence; and (if necessary) to sell simultaneously. All prospective purchasers not known to the auctioneers must provide a BANK REFERENCE prior to purchasing. No cash transactions over 10,000 sterling will be accepted. Payment may be made via Bankers Draft or cheque with guarantee Card/Bank Reference. 3. All descriptions either written or verbal are a guide only. The Auctioneers and Vendors will not be held responsible for the accuracy of any description. Prospective purchasers must satisfy themselves of all descriptions. 4. All lots are SOLD AS SEEN and any descriptions given in this catalogue are for guidance purposes only. Specific warranties may be given verbally by the auctioneer at the time of the sale. 5. The auctioneer as agent for the vendor reserves the right to bid up to the reserve price where set on any lot. 6. The auctioneer shall determine the bidding and can refuse a bid at his discretion.
