For Renault Trucks, 2010 has seen an overall increase in its sales and indicators which have gone back into the "green", with a total of 44,938 vehicles invoiced, which is 26% up on the previous year. However, the recovery is still slow and fragile, with significant differences between countries. Despite this difficult climate, Renault Trucks has continued to invest ( 130 million since 2009) at its production plants in France to secure its future and that of its 14,000 strong workforce, of which 10,000 are employed in France. In addition to these figures, 2010 was a year of triumph for the manufacturer with its victory for the Premium Long Distance in the Fehrenkötter Test (after 3 years of operational trials with this German haulier) and its uropean Truck Racing Championship crown. Renault Trucks also implemented its "putting the right truck in the right place with the right energy" philosophy by developing its Clean Tech vehicles (electrical, hybrid and NGV) as well as by deploying Optifuel solutions on all the vehicles in its range. The aim being to continue reducing its vehicles' consumption - together with their CO 2 emissions - even further. For 2011, Renault Trucks aims to continue in this direction so that it can increase customer satisfaction even further and give everyone in the road haulage industry renewed pride in their profession, since the role they play in our societies is absolutely vital. As a responsible truck manufacturer, Renault Trucks offers its customers reliable, highperformance products which have a reduced impact on the environment. This is achieved by applying Optifuel solutions to optimise Diesel vehicle consumption as well as developing Clean Tech vehicles running on alternative energies (electricity, hybrid or NGV). Renault Trucks is proud of the mission accomplished by hauliers and will always be there to support and assist them. 2 Although the crisis in the commercial vehicle world is not yet over and marked differences between countries persist, Renault Trucks' results for 2010 do allow us to be cautiously optimistic. However, we should not forget that sales in 2009 fell by 50% compared with those in the previous year closes with the total volume of vehicles invoiced standing at 44,938, which represents an overall increase of 26.2%. Proportions of vehicles invoiced by Renault Trucks: Vehicles over 6 t: o urope: 22,603 (including France: 11,030) o International: 6,997 o Defence: 263 Light Commercial Vehicles (2.6 to 6 t): o urope: 13,503 (including France: 7,193) o International: 323 o Defence: 5 CKD (Completely Knocked Down, or trucks sold as kits and assembled locally in certain overseas export markets): 1,244 The proportion of total sales per range remains reasonably evenly spread. The Delivery range (LCVs), with 31.7% of sales, has the highest proportion, together with the Long Distance range and its 30.3%. Then come the Distribution (21.4%) and Construction (16.6%) ranges. It should be noted that the Premium Long Distance has seen its sales rocket with a 78% increase compared with Market After an annus horribilis, the commercial vehicle market saw its indicators back in the green in 2010, but without any real cause for celebration and certainly not any return to pre-crisis levels.

3 27 country urope In urope, registrations of vehicles over 6 t, which reached 235,607 vehicles, were only a timid 6.4% up on the previous year, a figure which reflects significant differences. There are those countries which are still struggling to recover (Croatia 35.3% down on the previous year, Greece, 29.4% and Switzerland, 20.8% down), while others are driving overall figures higher, such as Germany, urope's leading market, recording a 20.3% growth and Poland, with its 43% increase, becoming the sixth largest uropean market. Here, Renault Trucks registered 22,194 vehicles, giving it a 9.4% market share. On the LCV market, the 3.2 to 3.5 t segment alone accounts for 362,454 vehicles. On this segment, Renault Trucks has a 3.3% market share, having registered 11,808 vehicles. Heinz Löw, director of Renault Trucks urope: "We did not see the over 6 t vehicle market start to recover until the second half of the year, led by Germany, urope's largest market and by long distance tractors which accounted for 60% of sales in Customers for these vehicles pay particular attention to consumption and were attracted by the Optifuel solutions developed by Renault Trucks designed to achieve long-term savings in fuel consumption. Meanwhile, recovery in the LCV market was led by astern urope, and remained buoyant throughout the year, a development which helped underpin Renault Trucks network activity. On this market, 2010 was important for the launch of the new Master by Renault Trucks, but also for sales of the Maxity which really took off, recording a growth of 80%." - France In France, registrations of vehicles over 6 t reached 33,754, which was 3.6% down on the previous year. On this market, Renault Trucks maintained its leadership with a 32.3% market share, or 10,904 vehicles registered. As far as LCVs are concerned, on the 3.2 to 3.5 ton market, 73,077 vehicles were registered, an increase of 12.8%. Renault Trucks has an 8.9% market share in this category, with 6,524 vehicles registered. Pascal Bittner, CO of Renault Trucks France: "On the over 6 t market, which had suffered a sharp decline, difficulties were still experienced during the first six months of the year, with signs of recovery only becoming apparent during the second half year. This was largely due to renewed demand for transport, fleet upgrades, introduction of the uro V standard and low interest rates encouraging investment. This recovery was particularly marked for longdistance tractors. Main players in the distribution sector had already been planning ahead in 2009, and therefore did not invest during 2010, resulting in the market for Distribution range vehicles declining. The Construction market stagnated at a low level during this period, for investments in new building projects took time to get off the ground. Meanwhile, because of

4 the downturn, major players in this field learned how to rationalise the way they managed their fleets. As for the LCV market, this took off from the beginning of the year. On this market, the Master, in the full flood of its launch phase, found its place and the Maxity saw its sales rise by 70%. - International Renault Trucks invoiced 8,485 vehicles across all ranges in This represented a 10.84% increase compared with Overall, 2010 was marked by a recovery of activity starting in the second half of the year, mainly in Russia, the Middle ast and Africa. There are however some countries in which the crisis is still biting hard, such as Ukraine. The Renault Kerax and the Renault Premium Lander will have been the ranges that enjoyed the greatest commercial success on international markets in The Renault Midlum and the Renault Premium Long Distance have also proved their viability on these markets. Renault Trucks invoiced 8,485 vehicles across all ranges in This translates into an increase of 10.84% compared with Overall, 2010 was marked by a recovery starting in the second half year, mainly in Russia, South America, the Middle ast and Africa. Renault Trucks also recorded good results in North Africa, in particular consolidating its market leadership position in Algeria. The Renault Kerax and Renault Premium Lander accounted for almost 50% of sales on overseas international markets in The Midlum and Premium Long Distance also benefited from the recovery in the Russian market. Frédéric Mouret, director of Renault Trucks International: "The crisis has lasted longer than forecast for Renault Trucks on markets where the brand is represented. Sales went up significantly compared with 2009, particularly in the second half of the year. There are however considerable inequalities between our various markets. Central and Western Africa are growing strongly, Russia is also taking off again and we are doing well in South America. There have been some extremely encouraging signs such as the Renault Kerax being awarded the Truck of the Year 2010 distinction in Russia, which means we can look forward to good prospects for 2011." - Renault Trucks Defense Once again experiencing the effects of an economic crisis, the Renault Trucks Defence division recorded a slightly increased turnover for 2010, 0.6% up on that of 2009.

5 In particular, the Defence division's activity consisted of continuing to deliver VBCIs, GBCs with steel cabs and armoured cabs, as well as VABs (TOP VAB contract) to the French army. This result also reflects new export contracts, such as the Kerax vehicles supplied to Chad, the Sherpa Lights to NATO and the powerpacks in Indonesia. Renault Trucks Defense has also developed its "maintenance in operational condition" activity within the framework of its partnership with the French army to service 7,500 tactical vehicles and 4,000 VABs. Key volumes in 2010: logistic vehicles (from the RT civilian range) military vehicles (Sherpa, Caesar, VBCI, VLRA Acmat and GBC) - Refurbishment of 16 GBCs and 86 VABs (not including repairs at Fourchambault) - Investments in France In an uncertain economic climate, Renault Trucks has invested almost 130 million in its main production plants: - 17 million invested in 2010 for assembling next-generation engines at the Vénissieux plant (Rhône-Alpes) - 30 million invested in 2009 for a new stamping plant at Vénissieux million invested in 2010 for setting up the HD&L (Hybrid, alternative energies and development) production line at Bourg-en-Bresse (Rhône-Alpes). This is the world's first production line for HGVs geared for developing and mass-producing nextgeneration heavy goods vehicles million invested in 2009 in two new production lines at Blainville-sur-Orne (Lower Normandy): including 3 million for the automated bodywork line and 67 million for the automated paint line.

6 Key events in Victory in the uropean Truck Racing Championship With a new partner, the MKR Technology team, and a new truck boasting an innovative design, Renault Trucks won the 2010 uropean Truck Racing Championship team crown. Throughout the season, Renault Trucks supplied its partner with "engine" technology and assistance during the races. With its impressively original and sharp design, created by the Renault Trucks Halle du Design, the Premium Racer demonstrated that it was also the highest performing truck of the pack. This victory was accompanied by the release of the 2010 version of the Truck Racing by Renault Trucks videogame which has been downloaded from the site more than 650,000 times. - The leader for saving fuel After three years of testing 7 trucks available on the German market made by 7 different manufacturers under actual operating conditions, the "Fehrenkötter" test carried out jointly by German haulier Fehrenkötter and "Transaktuell" magazine delivered its verdict in September 2010: a decisive win for the Renault Premium Long Distance! It is therefore acknowledged to be the truck which is the least expensive to operate and which has the lowest fuel consumption. Renault Trucks became a pioneer in the field of fuel savings when, in 2009, it offered its customers the opportunity of adopting Premium Optifuel, the first comprehensive offer combining a truck with a set of solutions and services designed to cut consumption. This original formula has recently been acknowledged by the industry at the XVI th uropean Transport Awards which took place in Madrid. In 2010, Optifuel Programme was extended to cover the entire heavy duty range and the Optidriver+ and Optitronic robotised gearboxes were fitted to vehicles across the range. Furthermore, 2010 was the year of success achieved by the 2 nd edition of the Optifuel Tour 2010, designed to present its Optifuel Solutions for reducing consumption to customers. Its success in France and across urope with its 15 stages emphasises Renault Trucks' determination to be a leader in the field of fuel savings and offer its customers sustainable and efficient means of reducing the proportion of their operating costs devoted to "fuel". - Development of Clean Tech solutions (electric, hybrid and NGV) Maxity electric is an all-electric, "zero noise, zero emission" light commercial vehicle designed to operate in town centres. This vehicle, with an operating range of 100 km, is already in service with various customers, including the Tafanel brewery in Paris and the Greater Lyon Authority. Renault Trucks will be offering this vehicle on the market in the course of 2011.

7 Similarly, the Premium Distribution Hybrys Tech is currently being tested under actual operating conditions by the Colas construction group in Lyon for carrying building materials and by Coca-Cola nterprises Belgium in Brussels for delivering beverages. The first feedback from these various customers has shown a reduction in consumption that corresponds to forecasts (savings of up to 20%) and user comfort particularly appreciated by drivers and operators. Renault Trucks is upgrading its Premium Distribution NGV offering and is now beginning to issue labels to network sales and service points qualified and equipped to handle vehicles running on these new energies. NGV offers considerable advantages for the environment, since vehicles using this energy emit neither smoke nor particulates and the exhaust gases produced are virtually odour-free. Furthermore, an NGV vehicle is quieter than a vehicle with an internal combustion engine, which is an advantage for urban applications, particularly for regional authorities seeking alternative solutions to Diesel that are reliable and efficient. - Launch of the Master In April 2010, Renault Trucks incorporated the new Master and a number of exclusive services into its range. With all its experience in HGVs to draw upon, Renault Trucks knows that a light commercial vehicle is both a working tool and a place of work. At its Fast&Pro workshops, the manufacturer provides professionals with a sales and maintenance service specifically designed for light commercial vehicle users. There are 96 centres currently operational in urope, a number which is planned to reach 250 by Furthermore, Renault Trucks also offers a selection of exclusive bodied vehicles in its "Ready to Work" range. These are vehicles sold with a predefined body selected from those most commonly required. By choosing one of these offers, customers no longer have to worry about having a body fitted, the manufacturer "prepares" and guarantees the entire vehicle. In other words, Renault Trucks takes care of everything! - Launch of the Premium Lander OptiTrack In spring 2010, Renault Trucks presented the new premium Lander OptiTrack. By incorporating two hydraulic motors in the front wheels, this vehicle is able to switch from a 4x2 mode to a 4x4 mode at the touch of a button on the dashboard. In practical terms, it gives the driver of this "conventional" 4x2 vehicle the option of a temporary 4x4 drive with all the advantages that brings only when it is really needed, without having to suffer the financial and practical drawbacks normally associated with a full four-wheel-drive. This new feature created quite a stir during the Construction Days organised throughout 2010, which allowed 1,500 customers to try out the Renault Trucks Construction range in urope, Argentina, South Africa, North Africa and Russia. More than 500 orders were placed in the course of these special Construction Days.

8 - Launch of the Access Mainly designed for the collection of domestic refuse, this low entry cab vehicle has the name of "Renault Access", symbolising the easier access to the cab which makes waste collection agents' work easier, more comfortable, safer - and therefore more efficient. - Launch of the Magnum Route 66 special edition As an extension of the "Route 66" Renault Trucks operation, during which two Magnum vehicles travelled along Route 66 between Chicago and Los Angeles, the Magnum Route 66 limited edition was launched in March 2010 with specific exterior decoration, exclusive upholstery and upscale equipment. All this results in a Magnum that combines the excellence of Renault Trucks with the American dream. It was an immediate success with customers, and particularly owner-drivers. The first of these special edition vehicles was delivered in September to Jean-Pierre Kermarrec, an owner-driver in Brittany (France). - The 100,000 th Midlum In 2010, Renault Trucks produced its 100,000 th Midlum, the mainstay of its Distribution range, launched in Manufactured entirely at the Blainville-sur-Orne plant (Lower Normandy), the Midlum has enjoyed a fine career. As a symbol of this success, the 100,000 th vehicle to be produced was delivered to a company specialising in parcels services: Dupont Bedu Transports (France). Key dates in 2011 The first CO Transport & Logistics exhibition which will take place in Paris from 29 to 31 March. A Premium Optifuel and a Maxity electric will be on display. The next international SAMOTR exhibition, mainly dedicated to the world of construction, will take place in Verona from 2 to 6 March. The star of the show will be the Premium Lander 4x2 OptiTrack, accompanied by the rest of the Construction range. The next Truck Racing event: Donington (UK) on 23 and 24 April.
