5 Passenger vehicles - Non Tenders Section Type Description ed Business News After having acquired Seat vehicles agen for Egypt in 2014, Mr. Karim El Naggar, Head of Kayan Egypt, has now acquired the same agen to now also cover Libya & Sudan. Development documents a certain success of the manager/ agent is scoring some credits in either country. Total annual sales of Seat vehicle now reaches almost 5,000 vehicles in all three countries. Bidders for local assembly are now limited to the Bavarian Group, AAV & EGA (Egyptian/ German). Projects in Pre-Tendering Phase Carrying a real heavy but most promising flag, Eng. Khaled Nosseir signed recently an assembly/ integration contract between EIM of Egypt & Kia International Motors of South Korea involving L.E billion investments over the next 5 years including L.E. 262 million for the first year. Contract was signed in Cairo & attended by Egypt's Minister of Trade & Industry, Eng. Tarek Kabil, by Kia Motors President for Middle East & Africa, also by the South Korean Ambassador to Cairo among other high ranking executives of both parties. On his side, the Egyptian Minister, Eng. Kabil, indicated that Egypt is the sole country in Africa having a license to assemble Kia vehicles in the Region.
