Placement category as per GOST (ГОСТ ). 28 Floating drilling rig PBU Floating drilling rig PBU on the basis of mobile drilling complex MBK-5 Field of application, destination and name of product PBU (floating drilling rig) is designed for allocation and utilization of the mobile drilling complex of MBK-5 type for exploration drilling of wells of up to 700 meters deep in conditions of extreme shallow waters. Technical requirements: TU Transportation of PBU to the drilling site is performed by means of astern towing at a speed of more than 4 nodes. PBU is operated accompanied by supply vessels. Supply vessels should include a vessel which constantly stands near PBU and is equipped with radio equipment, a vessel which would comply with navigation area of GMDS (Global Maritime Distress and Safety System).
