2 Brief introduction to wormgear speed reducer Trasmital NMRV series wormgear speed reducer is a newgeneration product developed by our company with a compromise of advance technology. Its main features are as follows:. Made of highquality aluminum alloy, light in weight and nonrusting.. Large in output torque. 3. Smooth in running and low in noise, can work long time in dreadful conditions. 4. High in radiating efficiency.. Goodlooking in appearance, durable in service life and small in volume.. Suitable for omnibearing installation. Main Materials. Housing: die cast aluminum alloy (frame size: 0 to 0); cast iron (frame size to ). Worm : cr, carbonize & quenched heat treatment makes the hardness of gear s surface HRC, retained carburized layer thickness between 0.3 and 0.mm after precise grinding 3. The reduction unit of size & are supplied with lubricant, mineral oil, SHELLTEVELA 3 and are fitted with breather, level and drain plugs. It is necessary to replace plug used for transportation with the breather plug supplied with drive unit. The oil needs to be changed after approximately,000 hours. This period depends upon the type of service and the environment where the reduction unit works. Prestage Helical Gearbox (PC) is supplied complete with lifelong Lubrication, synthetic oil, SHELL TEVELA 3 and can therefore be mounted in all the positions. Lubrication for the worm reduction unit and PC are independent. Installation To install reduction unit it is necessary to note the following recommendations:. The mounting on the machine must be stable to avoid any vibration. Check the correct direction of rotation of gearbox output shaft before fitting it to the machine. 3. Whenever possible, protect the unit operating against solar radiation and bad weather 4. Ensure motor cools correctly by assuring good passage of air from the fan side In the case of ambient temperature 0 c or + c call the technical service..
