5 The new chain is very strong thanks to its unique male-female junction, which guarantees high resistance even in the toughest applications. The central pin is manufactured in PA6. The chain elongation effect is made negligible by the big pin diameter, which increased chain stability when pulled or pushed. All inner link surfaces are smooth and edge-free, for the best protection of cables and hoses. The removable sliding skid is manufactured in a special material, aimed at reducing friction and giving the skid and chain the longest working life under the heaviest duty conditions. Chains type M60 and M80 are available with quick-opening frames at both sides and a wide-ranging choice of separation systems. Available in two sizes, aluminium guide channels are supplied in 2-m trunks. Their assembly is very simple thanks to the specific installation kit supplied along with them. The perfect design of aluminium covers guarantees total protection of cables and hoses, even with incandescent steel chips around. Just like any other Brevetti steel chain, BS4000 is also available for long-stroke sliding applications. The sliding skid is manufactured in a special low-friction plastic compound.
