2 Application The traffic guidance signs TGS LED provide guidance and orientation for pilots and vehicle drivers on runways and taxiways. They can be used as mandatory instruction signs or information signs. 4 Details About Retrofit-Kit for Guidance Signs Type TGS Application area The LED Retrofit-Kit provides an easy and fast conversion of existing guidance signs to the latest LED-technology. Features Simple plug & play connection Module fitted with 5 high-performance LEDs with an expected lifetime of more than hours All components resistant to corrosion Fail-open function Connection to 6.6 A as well as to 230 V mains Description The LED Retrofit-Kit consists of four components: LED-Module (IP68) Internal connection cable External connection cable Electronic ballast (with or without fail open): The integrated fail-open function reports to the tower in case of module failure rate > 25 %.The electronic ballast allows connection to 6.6 A series circuits.
