This protection will withstand 90 hours saltspray test to DIN 50021, ISO/R , STM B This finish is intended for indoor use in non-corrosive environments only. 2 Stainless steel Spring steel stainless steel fasteners are made of austenitic stainless steel type X12 Cr Ni 17-7 (ISI 302, Standard no , according to DIN 17224). Other stainless steel products are made of austenitic stainless steel type X5 Cr Ni (ISI 304, Standard no ). On special request the following parts, C20, C30, C45, 5000, 6000 and all CR clamps, can also be produced in austenitic stainless steel type X6 Cr Ni Mo (ISI 316, Standard no ). ERICO - Fixoband and buckles are made of austenitic stainless steel type ISI Hot dip galvanised zinc Protection against corrosion is provided by hot dip galvanising in accordance with DIN tZn-0, BS 729, NF and NEN The zinc layer thickness is micron (equivalent to g/m2). 4 ERICO plated zinc (mechanically deposited zinc) The anti-corrosion protection consists of a coating of mechanically deposited zinc with a layer thickness of approx. 25 micron, a chromate passivator and a transparent sealer. The total system provides high levels of protection against white corrosion and red rust, according to STM B , FNOR and draft standards BS (GB) and UNI (Italy). The corrosion resistance of the system is 500 hours against red rust for a saltspray test as per DIN 50021, ISO/R and STM B Nylon 6 Lacquered The corrosion resistance of these layers is minimum 192 hours for a salt spray test as per DIN 50021, ISO/R and STM B CDDY COT This finish consists of a two part coating, a base coat and a topcoat. The base coat of zinc phosphate aids in corrosion resistance and increases the adhesion of the topcoat. The organic topcoat provides superior corrosion resistance. The system was evaluated in a 500 hour saltspray test per STM D610. The testing conformed to STM B117. Spring steel fasteners are for indoor use in non-corrosive environments. The next longer standard bolt length should be used. Tail length The different tail length can be identified by a code of dimples underneath the clamps. Correct installation of types and B Showing type as an example Maximum tail length tolerance of -1 (up to M16) and -1.5 (M20, M24) before applying the torque is acceptable.
