3 Removal. Place bike on centertand.. Looen left ide muffler exhaut clamp.. While ecurely upporting left muffler, remove left muffler mount bolt and carefully remove left muffler aembly.. Looen right ide muffler exhaut clamp.. While ecurely upporting right muffler, remove right muffler mount bolt and carefully remove right muffler aembly.. Slide () 6-MPCA left muffler clamp over () left muffler aembly. Note: Muffler exhaut gaket will not be ued with the Yohimura Slip-On exhaut ytem. Intallation. Intall () HT SHLDR77 muffler clamp rubber heathield onto (,) 6-MPCR(X) / 6MPCA(X) muffler clamp.. Intall left muffler aembly by liding Yohimura tailpipe over the tock header outlet.. Secure left muffler aembly to the outide of the tock muffler mount uing the tock bolt, waher, and provided () 0MMNUT flange nut. Torque muffler mount bolt to Nm (. kg-m, 8 ft-lb). Do not torque () 7-6M exhaut clamp at thi time. See aembly diagram for proper orientation of hardware., 6. Slide () 6-MPCR right muffler clamp over () left muffler aembly.. Slide () 7-6M exhaut clamp over (,) 0-6 / 0-7 left and right tailpipe inlet.

4 7. Intall right muffler aembly by liding Yohimura tailpipe over the tock header outlet. 8. Secure right muffler aembly to the outide of the tock muffler mount uing the tock bolt, waher, and provided () 0MMNUT flange nut. Torque muffler mount bolt to Nm (. kg-m, 8 ft-lb). Do not torque () 7-6M exhaut clamp at thi time. See aembly diagram for proper orientation of hardware.. It i recommended that the muffler and tailpipe be wiped down with rubbing alcohol to remove oil and fingerprint. Thi will help prevent tarnihing of the finih after the exhaut i heated up. Note: After tarting motorcycle, it i normal for new exhaut ytem and muffler to emit moke until oil reidue burn off.. Standing at the back of the motorcycle, check for proper alignment of the muffler. Adjut if neceary. Note : To adjut fitment, it may be neceary to rotate the tailpipe and/or the muffler independently until proper alignment i achieved. Note : You will be intalling a ecuring rivet into the left tailpipe to prevent the tailpipe from rotating while the motorcycle i in operation. 0. Uing the ecuring hole on the left ide tailpipe a a guide, drill a / 6 hole through the ecuring hole and into the tock header. CAUTION Alway wear eye protection when uing any power tool.. Inert (8) S-RIVET ecuring rivet into the drilled hole and lide () 7-6M exhaut clamp over the rivet. Torque left and right exhaut clamp to 0Nm (.0 kg-m, ft-lb).. Intall (6) 0-YHSR right tailpipe heathield onto () 0-7 right tailpipe uing the provided (0) RC6HSB button head crew. See aembly diagram for proper orientation.. Intall (7) 0-YHSL left tailpipe heathield onto () 0-6 left tailpipe uing the provided (0) RC6HSB button head crew. See aembly diagram for proper orientation.. Before tarting motorcycle, check for proper clearance between new exhaut ytem and rear upenion (i.e. tire, wing arm, brake, rear hock, and etc.) If any problem i found, pleae carefully follow through the intallation tep again. If problem till perit, pleae call Yohimura Tech Department at (800) 6-66 / in CA (0) 68-7.

5 NOISE EMISSION WARRANTY Yohimura warrant that thi exhaut ytem, at time of ale, meet all applicable U.S. E.P.A. Federal noie tandard. Thi warranty extend to the firt peron who buy thi exhaut ytem for purpoe other than reale, and to all ubequent buyer. Ue of the motorcycle with uch a modified exhaut ytem i alo prohibited. Act likely to contitute tampering include removal or puncturing the muffler, baffle, header pipe, or any other component which conduct exhaut gae. WARNING: Thi product hould be checked for repair or replacement if the motorcycle noie ha increaed ignificantly through ue. Otherwie, the owner may become ubject to penaltie under tate and local ordinance.
