3 President Page: Well its looking like the date of the truck show is going to be rain free and very pleasant. It s about time! I'm hoping this newsletter gets to you before the show. Tuesday being the 4 th of July means no mail. I know Tom will try. Speaking of the show, we ve got everything as good as we can get it. I think we ve done this a few times before. I want to thank everyone who helped in any way possible with this event in advance. You guys are truly the best! I will be at the park bright and early Sunday morning. Around 6:30am to set up. Help is always appreciated to set up tents, put up signs and do lay out. I've so far got about 45 preregistered trucks and about a dozen vendors. I'm still hopeful we will get very close to the 200 mark. If you could please send in the preregistration or bring them with you the day of the show. Anything to make congestion less at the gate. This year we have some extra special guest and Its looking like we might have a few show stoppers too. Thanks to Sally & Terry Salisbury for hosting Junes rainy meeting. We had a good turn out and got to meet some of our newer members that showed up. Remember there is no meeting in July because we have the truck show. August meeting will be at Walt and Sues in Vernon on Thursday the 17 th. After our show there is the Western New York Show, August 5 th and 6 th in Stafford, NY. The following weekend August 10 th -13th is the Brockway show in Cortland. Also on the 13 th is the South-Central Chapter of the ATCA show in Cortland at the Brockway museum. As in past years we have had several of us go as a group to there shows. If interested in joining along see me or leave a message. Check the events calendar in this newsletter for more information on these shows and others or the event board at the show. Let s show our support. Once again I have reserved 2 spots at the Mohican Model A Show in Wampsville on Sept. 10 th. This show is much more than its name entails. Any member that has items they want to sell can bring it in to my area at no cost. God knows I got a lot to sell! You can even stop by to help set up or pay me a visit. I will even buy you a Coke. Call me at for more info. For those interested, a memorial Golf outing for Member Bobby Brown who passed away last year is going on July 8 th at Milestone Golf Club in Elbridge. I know its short notice but if you are interested, contact Mike Fraher at for more info. We want to give a get well soon to member Sal Moran and Sally Salisbury s mother.
