3 PROJECT BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: The Central Bayside Pump Station is being constructed as part of the Central Bayside System Improvement Project. The site is located in close proximity to the Southeast Plant (SEP) Campus, and the station will be built to serve as a redundacy for existing facilities: Channel Pump Station/Channel Force Main and Southeast Plant s SEP 011 lift pumping facility. The objective of the Central Bayside Pump Station is to function as both a Wet Weather and a Dry Weather station for maximum operational flexibility. Channel T/S Box SCOPE OF WORK: Construction of a new central building to house a below-grade channel and vertical shaft along with operations rooms and electrical rooms. Two attached building wings will house a crane room and debris room. Streetscape and frontage improvements along adjacent sides of Rankin St. and Davidson Ave. Public waterfront access and open space with stormwater treatment along Islais Creek within the 100 BCDC jurisdiction zone.
