2 WESTSIDE T/S PROJECT BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE RICHMOND TRANSPORT TUNNEL RICHMOND WATERSHED The Westside Pump Station has been in service for over 30 years since It is the SFPUC s main wastewater pump station servicing the west side of the City of San Francisco therefore its continued service and reliability is critical. The objective of the Westside Pump Station Reliability Improvements Project is to increase reliability of its operations to comply with the current maximum permitted level of Combined Sewage Discharges.
