All components used in the construction of Wisper bikes are sourced from world class manufacturers such as Shimano, Panasonic and Dapu Japan. Why choose an electric bike? A good electric bike effectively flattens hills and makes light work of flatter terrain, thus increasing your average speed and reducing the amount of energy needed to complete your journey. In hilly country the effect is nothing short of miraculous. But would a conventional bike keep you fitter? That depends how much you use it. An electric bike typically gets used at least twice as often as a conventional machine and more regular use means more exercise for the rider. The amount you perspire is important if you re cycling to work. In hot weather, transfer a bit more load to the electric motor and keep cool. If you need exercise, just throttle back, or turn the motor off. Wisper bikes go through a rigorous 104-point quality control inspection, all undergo individual road testing. All new Wisper bikes arrive with a QC certificate and service manual which carries the date of manufacture and the name of the Wisper employee responsible for the final checks on your bike. Keep the certificate handy as a quick reference point for your unique frame, battery and key numbers just in case. The battery is the heart of all electric bikes providing not only range but power. We use the finest lithium batteries available, all with computerised Management Systems that will keep your power pack healthy for years to come. Our long range 592Wh batteries have a life of more than 1,000 full recharge cycles or 50,000Km. When choosing an electric bike it is important that you pick one with a battery large enough to keep you powering up hills for even your longest journeys. To calculate the capacity of any battery, simply multiply Voltage by Amp hours to give you the number of Watt hours, or the capacity of your battery.
