This component has been judged on the basis of the required spacings in the Standard for Safety of Information Technology Equipment, CSA/UL , Second Edition, Sub-clause 2.10, which would cover the component itself if submitted for Listing. 2. The equipment has been evaluated for use in Pollution Degree 2 environment. 3. The Clearance values of the Power Supply Unit (PSU) have been evaluated for an altitude of 10,000ft (3048m), under IEC : 1992 Table A.2 (altitude correction factor is 1.15). 4. Touch Current Test was conducted at 305/520Vac, 60Hz and measured current for single unit was maximum 3.5mA. Earth connection is essential before connecting the power supply. 5. The Capacitance Discharge Test was conducted on the mains input, the requirements of UL /CSA were met. 6. The ground path from the appliance inlet to the PSU case meets protective bonding and has been evaluated at 80 A for TCP3500, TXP3500 models and 40 A for TXP Evaluated as Class I (earthed equipment). Reliable connection to Protective Earth shall be provided in the end use installation. 8. Evaluated for connection to AC power with a branch circuit protection rated max 40A for TCP3500 models and max. 20 A for TXP The PSU has been evaluated for a TN (Including TN-S and TN-C), IT (for Norway) systems power source. 10. The PSU has been evaluated for use with a Three Phase power source. 11. The secondary output of all the PSU is SELV except for model TXP which output is at hazardous voltage. TXP4000 output is still at hazardous voltage after disconnection at no load condition. Output can only be accessible after 2 minutes from disconnection. 12. The equipment is an enclosed, Class I switch mode AC-DC converter three phase AC input and adjustable DC output. This report covers multiple models and all comments / tests apply to all models unless otherwise indicated. Testing was conducted on various models as indicated ; The unit is intended to operate at an altitude of up to 3048m. This equipment is intended to be operated at an altitude of up to 3048 m so the clearance is multiplied by the altitude correction factor (1.15), specified in table A.2 of IEC nd Edition: Refer to Tables and , 3.2.5; Power supply cord set. Power supply is for building-in. A power supply cord set, complying with the national regulations of the country in which the product is to be sold, shall be provided with the end-use equipment ; Safety instructions. Instructions and equipment markings related to safety are to be provided in a language, which is acceptable in the country in which the equipment is to be sold. English language verified ; IT power distribution systems. The equipment complies with the requirements for connection to the Norwegian IT power systems. The following information should be given (but is not required) in the installation instruction: This product is also designed for IT power system with Phase to Phase voltage 230V ; Number and location of protective devices. In Norway, IT power distribution system is used. Equipment with a single protective device is accepted in Norway. Other countries may have additional requirements ; Warning to service personnel. No. NO94435 evaluated to the requirement of IEC : 2005 (Second edition)+am1:2009+am 2:2013. This test report includes the addition of model TXP G. For continuity, the entire report has been reissued, including the additional evaluation highlighted in Bold italic text. Model TCP3500 and TXP3500 Series are AC-DC converter which employ a PFC front end stage and an isolated DC-DC stage to convert 3-phase AC input voltage to a low DC O/P voltage. The PSU includes digital signal processor (DSP) which enables monitoring of electrical parameters (including input voltage of all 3 phases) and controlling the PSU from system controller. An RS485 bus is used for command, monitoring and diagnostic information that can be supplied to a system controller. The unit composed of AC filter board, DC/DC main board, Power board, Secondary main board and Control board. Testing conducted on TCP G represents models TCP3500-H048G. TCP3500 Series is provided with an Aluminium water cooled cold plate to aid in cooling the power supply. The water is contained within the cold plate and water does not circulate through the power supply. Power supply is mounted on the cold plate and the power supply is cooled by convection. Water is intended to be cooled to maintain the cold plate at 50 C. TXP3500 Series is provided with internal fan for cooling. The unit is operated at maximum 55 C ambient. Model Differences: Model TCP3500-H048G is same as TCP G except it contains output post filter (added L301, D318 and R342 R347) on the secondary main board for better dynamic regulation parameters and three 30A fuses (F300, F301, F302) instead one 80A fuse (F300) used on TCP G model. Model TXP is exactly the same as TCP except for the enclosure design, cooling method, operating ambient, PCB layouts due to slight changes on control circuits, different auxiliary transformer, some SELV components and PWB assemblies. Model TXP G is exactly the same as TXP except input and output ratings, main transformer part number and secondary PCB layouts.
