4 COMPANY HISTORY 1936 Creation of the Thomas Establishments manufacturing metal ropes for tires in Cusset (60 km North of Clermont Ferrand) On 1st April, Applifil is acquired by EURODEC group and its associates The complete facility is transferred on a new workshop of 7000 m², located in Cusset 2005 Certification ISO 9001 & ISO TS Beginning of tube activity EURODEC group is acquired by HALBERG GUSS. APPLIFIL became HALBERG PRECISION CUSSET Development of the activity and transfert in a new building of m2 in Cusset HALBERG GUSS group in France is acquired by ALTIA GROUP. HALBERG PRECISION CUSSET becomes ALTIA CUSSET Certification ISO ALTIA group is broken up. ALTIA Cusset plant is acquired by DRAHTZUG STEIN (80%) and CALIFIL (20%) ALTIA CUSSET becomes DRAHTZUG STEIN CUSSET. Page - 4
