4 01 Aeromedic Aeromedic is a leading provider of on-board medical equipment for passengers. We are one of the most sought after partners in the supply of medical apparatus. We also offer full training in the use and application of our products. This ensures that full compliance and safety awareness requirements are met and that your staff are both confident and competent in the use of all products. Page 07 First Aid and Medical Kits Aeromedic s first aid and medical kits can be customised to your requirements. Our products are often the preferred choice of leading airlines around the globe. We have extended our worldwide range of on board kits to give customers a greater selection in picking the one which is most suitable for their requirements and purpose. We are compliant with all the latest Joint Aviation regulations. Aeromedic also produces kits compliant with the Federal Aviation Administration and the Civil Aviation Administration of China. The cases are manufactured from thermoplastic polymer with an extruded aluminium frame, making them strong and durable. They meet all environmental requirements for use on aircraft including flammability requirements of FAR Extensive testing is carried out on the cases to ensure their integrity. Refurbishment and Maintenance Aeromedic offers a full in-house refurbishment, maintenance and recertification service using our unique database and barcode data capture technology. As well as being available for Aeromedic kits, we provide this service for third party kits (ie not produced by Aeromedic). We also offer the supply of component part replacements to support local operations and occupational health supplies including a wide range of vaccines. Therapeutic Oxygen Aeromedic s Zero Two oxygen equipment is compact, mobile and self-contained. Passengers with stable medical conditions, blood disorders (such as anaemia or sickle cell disease) or those who are recovering from illness may require supplemental oxygen on board. The Zero Two product range is supported by a comprehensive supply, delivery, refurbishment and maintenance programme. This is based upon the same standard operating procedures through which Aeromedic has already achieved such wide acclaim. Rewinding offers our customers significant savings in time and money when compared to the costs associated with the purchase of new units. This approval enables us to reverse-engineer electrical rewound components and produce new and improved repair schemes for these parts. We are also able to approve changes to (alternative) parts and materials within the scope of approval. If a specific part number is not shown on our capability list and you have a regular requirement for the repair of this component, we can reverse engineer the part under our design approval. AEM is an approved Schenck balancing centre. We are equipped with the latest technology in precision balancing as demanded by the industry. 6 03 Component Management AEM s component solutions team offers a wide range of MRO services to the defence and commercial sectors. Our knowledgeable staff provide support across most military, fixed and rotary wing platforms including the Bell range, Hawk, Tucano, C-130, CN235, Puma and Grob. For commercial operators, our experience covers Boeing, Airbus, Embraer and ATR. We provide comprehensive support backed up by our global network of AMETEK MRO locations and OEM relationships.

7 Page Electrical Power Manufacturers approvals: AEM is an authorised repair facility for several distinguished vendors including: AEM covers all your service requirements in electrical and electronic equipment. Our personnel are highly trained and experienced, as well as being supported by significant investment into the latest test equipment. Power Generation Electronics AEM handles a range of equipment from all the major manufacturers. This includes the following: Generators (AC/DC) Integrated Drive Generators Actuators Contactors and Relays Motors Our generator test rigs are amongst the most sophisticated available. They are capable of simulating loads of up to 145 KVA and 850 amps (DC) at speeds of up to 32,000 rpm. This allows most generators currently flying to be tested. AEM s in-house support facilities include a comprehensive machining capability. Rework is carried out, such as full armature skim, undercut and balance. We also have a multi-stationed automatic brush bedding facility, as well as advanced cleaning and paint spraying equipment. AEM s electronics section complements our electrical capability to give a full service for power generation equipment. Test panels designed and built in-house interface with: generator control units; bus control units; static inverters; power supplies; a variety of solid state electronic components. OEM Build to Print Services In addition to repair and overhaul, AEM has a dedicated cell specialising in new build programmes. This entails undertaking selected manufacturing programmes from original equipment manufacturers, allowing them to focus on their current core activities. We then assume responsibility for all aspects of the supply chain management including planning, quoting, assembly and delivery back to the OEM. AEM s EASA Sub-part G production activity (UK.21G.2617) allows us to undertake a broad range of manufacturing including cable harness production, complete box assembly and sheet metal work. We manufacture to designs generated by EASA 21J design authorities and work in partnership with these organisations to satisfy our customers requirements.

8 05 Hydraulic Equipment AEM has many years of experience in the repair and overhaul of a wide variety of hydraulic units. This is supported by full in-house rework capability in our dedicated and comprehensive machining and plating site. Page 15 Units covered include: hydraulic, fuel, motor driven and vacuum pumps; fuel, selector, check and non-return valves; retraction, locking and thrust reverser actuators; slat and flap actuators; main and tail rotor servos. Our latest $1 million investment hydraulic test facility can replicate an extensive range of operational conditions. Test stands are capable of generating up to 10,000 psi static pressure and up to 45 US gallons per minute 4,000 psi, catering for both mineral oil MIL-PRF-5606 and Skydrol synthetic oil. 9 06 Page 16 Landing Gears AEM offers cost-effective overhaul of landing gears and associated components. We are also able to provide a full and comprehensive in-house machining and plating service in support of our landing gear activity. This enables us to maintain complete control of cost, quality and turnaround times. AEM has many years of experience in working with landing gears. Our technicians work closely with the OEMs as a recognised approved repair centre on the introduction of repair schemes and concessions. This reduces the need for replacement and additional cost. In order for our customers to maximise their flying hours, AEM has made significant investment in landing gear inventory. Assets are available for short or extended loan during the overhaul cycle at competitive rates. This adds further value and flexibility to the service offering.

10 07 Machining and Plating With investment to meet our customers requirements, AEM s machining and plating facilities are a unique feature. We have created an in-house machining section that is capable of handling most repair scheme operations together with a plating bay that provides a flexible, responsive solution to your needs. All the major resources that are required for aircraft accessory repair and salvage are available. Page 19 Machining AEM has a comprehensive precision machining facility. The range of processes we provide includes cylindrical, internal, surface, planetary and jig grinding, horizontal and vertical milling and boring along with turning and honing. We also have a fully equipped tool room to ensure that we can produce high standard jigs and fixtures to increase the accuracy and efficiency of our machining and plating processes. Non Destructive Testing AEM is proud to boast non-destructive testing (NDT) capabilities. The NDT workshop provides fluorescent dye penetrant and magnetic particle techniques. Both half wave and full wave inspection processes are available to highlight surface and sub-surface defects. Plating For components that require plating repairs or the restoration of protective finishes, AEM has a wide process capability to offer. For example, we can apply hard chromium or nickel plating for build-up repairs and cadmium or phosphate coatings for the restoration of protective finishes. We also cover a wide range of associated pre and post plating processes. These include: stress relieving / de-embrittlement oven treatments; non-destructive testing / inital etch inspection; shot peening.

11 08 Page 20 Safety Equipment AEM s safety equipment workshops are extensively kitted and our skilled technicians are capable of carrying out full repair schemes to the highest standards. We pride ourselves in the investments in our safety equipment exchange inventories and staff training. Escape Slides, Life Rafts and Slide Rafts Fire Extinguishers Manufacturers approvals: AEM is an authorised repair station for some of the world s leading manufacturers including: With many years experience, AEM has one of the largest and most comprehensive workshops in Europe. Escape slides, life rafts, slide rafts and life jackets are inspected, inflated, repaired and overhauled. We also have in-house capability to reprogram emergency locator beacons to Cospas-Sarsat requirements. For the crucial repacking operation, we have a wide range of manufacturer-designed packing fixtures and a computer-controlled hotroom and chiller. This means we can ensure a quicker processing time with the assurance of maintaining the critical size dimensions, as required by design standards. Oxygen Systems AEM provides full facilities for all your oxygen needs, including purge and refill, repair and overhaul for cylinders, regulators and assemblies. Our multi-chamber recharge facility dispenses oxygen complying with stringent aviation standards. Our comprehensively equipped gaseous oxygen workshop provides full capability for static and portable oxygen cylinders. AEM supplies full test, repair and overhaul facilities for fixed wing and rotary aircraft fire extinguishers including hermetic, O-ring, lavatory and portable types. Expedited turnaround times are achieved through tooling management, stock of original equipment manufacturer materials and the option of parts manufacturer approval spares. We offer a comprehensive and diverse capability including: precision machining of base units, increasing the ultimate life of hermetic fire extinguishers beyond those of our competitors; an electrostatic sensitive device area for cartridge testing and disposal; dedicated recycling facilities for Halon 1211 and 1301 including laboratory services to ensure compliance for purity; hydrostatic test facilities approved by the US Department of Transport, housing custom built test equipment dedicated to fire extinguishers.
