6 Gear and Drive Solutions Gears & Components Products and Solutions Our current customer base are the acknowledged leaders within their specific market sectors, therefore our intention is to not only meet their current expectations on quality, delivery and cost, but be capable of delivering the next generation of technically innovative transmission solutions. Specific applications include: Synchronisers: world s no. 1 in the design and manufacture of synchronisers for agricultural tractors. Almost 70% of all Agricultural Vehicles in production today utilize our synchronizers and/or our power shift clutch technology. We currently produce more than synchronisers per year for passenger cars, trucks, tractors and construction equipment. Powershift units: we have a proven capability by designing and manufacturing power shift clutches using the most advanced manufacturing techniques including electron beam and laser welding systems. The technologies available for producing the clutch housing are flow forming, grob rolling and our own fabricated broached design. We have the capability to design, develop and test complete powershift units to customer s specific applications. Crown wheels and pinions: we have a worldwide reputation for the manufacture of crown wheel and pinion used in the most technical challenging or complex agricultural, construction equipment and specialist automotive applications. We have the capability to offer the customer the choice of Gleason, Oerlikon, and Klingelnberg (Palloid) systems, dependent on the customer s individual applications and or specific needs. Our state of the art R&D Centre in Rivoli is capable of evaluating new designs under a wide variety of loads and duty cycles. Specific applications include: Heavy-duty steering and rigid axles with wet disk brake for wheeled loaders, graders and articulated dump trucks.
