10 Testing/Service Testing All transformers are tested at the manufacturing facility prior to shipment. They must meet very stringent quality criteria prior to release. Full fledged in-house testing to carry out all routine & type tests (temperature rise & partial discharge), conforming to IS and IEC standards. Type Tests (Impulse & Short Circuit) carried out at third party laboratories, including the Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) in India for all transformer ratings. Standard Tests: D.C.
